Overpriced, Noisey and cold

Very Expensive (I would say how much but I am not allowed to write that based on the 'rules' Crowne Plaza make when allowing anyone to write a review. )

Very noisy, based on the trains, planes, boats and nightlife.

Cold. The heating in the room did not work and the house-keeping staff insisted on airing the room. So upon my return from the exhibition centre down the road... the room was cold.

WiFi was a joke. I used a Broadband speed test website to report 0Mb download speed when using the free "high speed" internet in my room and 0.9Mb upload speed. (Have a screen capture should you which to have a laugh at it. )

Would I recommend this hotel. NO. For the amount I paid I should have taken a 10 day holiday in the Sun for the cost of the 2 night stay I had to pay for this miserable time in London.

Confortable and pleasant staff

Excellent new looking hotel with all amenities at hand. Reception staff are welcoming. Would give very good review except for TV with no BBC3 or 4.
IHG Ambassador member but did not received privileges as at Intercontinental Hotel which upgrade to top level where available and guarantee upgrade to the next level also free first pay movie which Crowne Plaza did not offer although staff said I was up graded.
Having said that, value for money is in no doubt.
An excellent stay and will do so again.

the hotel had a really good view and location is ideal as I had training at London city airport. I would have had a really nice time with my husband but they would not do much for us even when we offer to upgrade, because we were on an airline fare they just did not care and gave us a basic room. even when I told them it was my husband's birthday the checking staff did not care.
