Our stay could have been better

The nearby airport was a little loud, which was expected and the bathroom had a slight mildew odor. At time of booking I was supposed to get a refrigerator and microwave, but room had none. I didn't bother to inform the staff of that due to the inconvenience of having to move to another room after we had already unpacked. I also did not like that I had to pay $20 per day parking. Parking should be free for guests. Other than that it was ok.

Great place to stop over!

This hotel seemed to have it all. convenient location to the airport, but also some of the beach suburbs of LA. The Hotel was clean and modern with very friendly and efficient staff.
The room were comfortable and the amenities ( shampoos, moisturisers etc.) were of very high quality,not your run of the mill stock standard stuff you'd expect to see.
Good high speed internet was a bonus and the food quality in the restaurant was excellent.
Of course shuttle service to and from the airport was expected but it was reliable and regular.
All in all a very good experience and I'll be back!

Great Facility, Poor Entry Staffing Levels

This facility has great proximity to LAX and wonderful, well appointed rooms. Unfortunately, their staffing levels are not adequate to meet their policies. Upon check-in, there were no valet staff available to take our car. The bellman suggested we just leave it at the curb and "someone would get it." We were uncomfortable doing this, so my husband parked it himself. Then, the bellman who had unloaded the car, pushed the luggage cart into the hotel. Thinking he was right behind us, we went up to our room. When he did not shortly appear, my husband returned to the lobby, where our cart, with 4 cases of wine and our luggage, was sitting, unattended. He pushed the cart to the elevators where a bellman getting off told him that policy did not allow guests to push carts! When my husband explained he was not leaving it, the bellman reluctantly took the cart to our room, clearly miffed at us as he left. We understand hotel policies that prohibit guests from performing certain functions, but they require sufficient support staff so guests needs are met and security is ensured.
