Ziemlich durchschnittliches Flughafen Hotel, vor einiger Zeit renoviert, aber nicht richtig: alte Türen und anderes wurde wohl belassen oder gerade mal gestrichen. Neue vernünftig isolierte Fenster wären bei der Lage direkt am Flughafen ein absolutes muss gewesen, da wurde am falschen Ende gespart. Insgesamt geht schon, aber gibt bessere Crown-Plaza Hotels und für vergleichbares Geld bessere Hotels am Flughafen LAX.

A wonderful stay

I do recommend this hotel except that the free airport shuttle is always full and late. We waited over half an hour at the airport and over an hour at the hotel and it is always full. I really think they should improve this arrangement as it gets full after picking up people from Hiltonn.

I felt invisible at this hotel from the moment i drove up, 3 guys doing valet and none of them payed me any attention. I just left the car and went to check in. I was left standing in the VIP line like i was not their. I actually got out of the line and went to the normal line then when the attendant got to me he said, O sir you should have went through the VIP line, so whatever. when I got my room and went back to the car still nothing, no one paying any attention to me or the car. I had to yell to the guy to help me with my luggage. Gave him my room number on the top floor and told him to have my luggage put way I had to return the car to hertz and would walk back, this gave them plenty of time. When I returned the luggage was no where to be found and not in my room. So up and down the elevator and looking for my stuff, it was found in a corner just sitting and untended and out for the public. Its just everything important to me why bother. One guy came out of the back and saw my removing it from the luggage rack and just decided to ignore me. I took my luggage to my room.

The man who checked me in was rude. He questioned my Untted Airlines rate. I told him was working at the airport on the United Airlines project and he questioned me and reported me to his manager about my preferred rate. A rate mind you I have been getting for weeks prior to this one visit, which I told this guy. After talking to his manager he reluctantly gave me the preferred rate but warned me this would be the last time. I can assure you it will be the last time I saty at this Hotel which is a shame because I am a platinum member. He then went on and chearged me above the preferred rate and also charged me aa additional $100 deposit per night. This tied up my credit card from use for the entire week. When I asked him if this was a normal procedure he said quite snippy yes. When I checked with my coleauges who where also staying there during this time none of them were charged a $100 deposit per night.

I'm so sorry that we let you down! It sounds like we have some re-training to do at our front desk and I will definitely follow up on the situation you described. This is certainly not up to our standards, and again I apologize. I do want to confirm however, that we do place a $100 hold per night on all of our guests to cover possible incidental charges. This hold is released upon check out if not used.
