Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. There was only one minor concern (in the course of 11 days) and it was resolved same day. This is now my choice for future visits. I recommend this hotel for value, location and quality.

I felt that the hotel was in need of refurbishment as the decor was a bit dated. However the staff were helpful and pleasant with a particularly good concierge service. Food was of a decent standard. Pool a bit small and towels could have been a bit more luxurious. We did complain upon arrival that we were situAted in a noisy room overlooking air conditioning but you live and learn! the matter was addresses and we were relocated to something more appropriate. We were reliably informed that a revamp is imminent so hopefully the hotel will be given a more moden look. Hotel well situated for sightseeing.
We did wonder if we spotted a well known elderly celeb in the bar, but the bar staff denied who it was; as a matter of interest, without naming names, were we right? I would love to know!

Had a great time at the Plaza. Great staff always willing to help if there was only one issue it would be size of the bathroom and it's age other than that, everything was great!!!

considering the location, one expects more service and higher level hotellerie treatment. never again. you need to learn that a bellboy has to be available to seve a sick guest whatever the case, instead you have one who cant hop to the next store to get medicine? nah, that is no class. you dont belong in Beverly hills.

OUR STAY WAS SHORT, BUT VERY ENJOYABLE...THIS PROPERTY IS IN A GREAT LOCATION, OLDER, YET CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. WHEN WE ARRIVED I WAS GREETED, AND TOLD I WAS THE GUEST OF THE DAY..BUMPED UP TO A SUITE, FREE PARKING, COCKTAILS, AND BREAKFAST....WOW! WE LOVED IT, AND WOULD STAY AGAIN!

What we loved, staying 4 people in 2 double bed room is a courtesy of the managers at the front desk - real professionals trying to compensate old under-grated hotel with their willingness and readiness to help with any discomfort of the customers. So, we had a very low (what?) sink top in the bathroom and we had an issue with connecting 2nd and 3d device to the wifi in the room (FREE BTW - big plus) - the manager at the front desk took off our 2 days parking fee from the bill.

The staff is amazing at this Crowne Plaza! The only thing that bothers me is the lack of weights in the weight room. Half of them are missing. For a hotel that charges upwards of $200 a night, there should be adequate weights. I stay at your hotel Monday through Thursday for work and would love to be able to stay fit. Thank you for honoring our feedback!

Spent ten days (10), 9/25-10/5/13 at the Crowne Plaza and as usual we had a great time. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, the parking safe and convenient. However why we always come back to the Crowne Vic for vacations (and work) in the LA Area is your kind and professional staff. From Lucy and William on the 12th Floor Lounge to Kenny and Vic down in the lobby and other staff members makes this hotel what it is. They should be congratulated for all they do to make the stay in LA that much more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you and we will see you soon!

A great hotel just a short walk from Rodeo Drive and the restaurants of Beverly Hills. Near to two supermarkets which is great when travelling with kids.
We hired a car from Hertz across the road and had a fabulous time. First time we got a car and made the trip way better and more affordable to get around as parking is cheap at the beach etc.
Vic the doorman was very helpful and the hotel is really nice. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. Well worth the money in this area.

From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, the staff were excellent very attentive to my needs and willing to provide answers to any questions. The concierge was always available for directions and help for sightseeing questions.

Blood stained linens & clogged tub not acceptable. I really don't think it's asking too much to have housekeeping properly check the lines before putting them on the beds. And, the clogged drain in a bathtub seems to be the norm in your hotel. I've raised this before. I like the hotel because it's in a good location. I like IHG. Your staff are nice and accommodating. However, it's really worn down. There is no attention to detail. It's disappointing because now if I return I'll definitely have to check these things before it's too late in the night.

We stayed here for a few days while doing typical tourist trip of Beverly Hills, Hollywood etc..the location was great for this . Close to rodeo drive, universal, Hollywood. The lobby is nice but the rooms were old and small and needed serious updating. We are IHG members so there were breakfast coupons in a suite on an upper floor that was very nice. Price for parking was high. Overall it was ok. I have stayed at HI Express rooms that were by far nicer. I guess I just expected more from a Crown Plaza Beverly Hills. Bathroom was so small in need of major update.

This was my seventh stay since 2006. Can't say enough about the service. Front desk and concierge staff remembered me after two years. All staff were generous with their time, directions, comfort everywhere in the hotel. Bar service, restaurant breakfast service would give the bigger ritzier places a run for their money. Bus stop outside for easy access to all tourist venue or connections. Ralph's two blocks away and Katz Jewish grocery around the corner provide all food for eating on the run. Hire cars across the road, service station to refuel over W Pico 100 metres. Go east up W Pico and you are on the freeway, go west you are At the beach Santa Monica. Quiet area, great pool and spa. Very clean, comfortable, a little older now but has aged gracefully. Best value for money. Rodeo Drive only 5 blocks North, easy flat walk. Robertson where the stars shop is East about 6 blocks. Definitely will stay again when in LA

Let's start with the good point... Vallet guys are friendly and the bed while not super clean was good. That's about it... lobby area needs total update, as does the bar area.... we didn't even want to try the restaurant after ordering room service. Speaking of room service we ordered ever have a barbeque pizza that was more barbeques sauce then pizza? Gross......
Rooms are dirty.... rugs look like they haven't been cleaned in years, walls have stains all over them (we had 3 rooms), bathroom are just as bad.
Reservations I had to correct about 6 times over the course of a few months, and for such a small operation went from operator, to operator...
This can be a good hotel because of it's location but someone really needs to make a complete overhaul.. Next time it's the Marriott across the street.....

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Beverly Hills on Sunday night 9/1/13. This was our 1st time staying at your wonderful property. We made our reservation at 11pm on Sunday evening and didn't check in until around midnight. I called ahead of time to let Front Office know we will be arriving late to make sure the room is not sold. Micheal, your Front Office agent, answered the phone. Michael is real PRO! He was extremely professional, friendly and personal - like on the phone like in person! He made us feel welcomed, answered all of our questions and accommodated all of our requests. We really like our Executive Room on top floor - we had a view of downtown LA! Breakfast was delicious and Lucy, the breakfast attendant, was super nice and friendly. I will definitely recommend your property to my friends and family and will return to your property next time I'm in the need of a hotel room in Beverly Hills area. THANKS to everybody at Crown Plaza for making our experience a memorable one.

Booked a 4 day trip to LA for a family wedding. Throught out our 4 day visit, our room wasn't cleaned or serviced even once. We had to fetch our own towels and toiletries. Family member ordered room service and was over charged for cold medicore and cold food. Very disappointed.

First impressions were good - a very warm welcome from Vic as soon as we arrived and reception staff were friendly BUT the room was of a very poor standard. Surely Crowne Plaza must look into updating this hotel? The bed was a disgrace - un-ironed sheets, a bottom sheet that didn't fit the mattress and a stained cover. Not at all welcoming! The bathroom was awful too - exposed pipes, lime-scaled fittings, a plug that didn't work and bad drainage AND PLASTIC CUPS! - what 4 star hotel puts flimsy plastic cups in their bathrooms? The sound-proofing is appalling and your poor staff must deal with many unhappy guests (in inter-connecting rooms). It was as if the occupants of next door's room were in our room. It was so loud. On the plus side we were delighted with the easy parking.
I HOPE THAT SOMEONE READS THIS REVIEW AND PASSES IT ON TO SOMEONE WHO HAS SOME INFLUENCE OVER QUALITY CONTROL. It was our last 2 nights in LA and wasn't the best way to end our holiday.

My short stay in Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills was good but there is nothing impressive in my opinion. Room furniture was old style but well-maintained and staff were found not knowledgeable enough when asked about one of the attractions in LA. One of the receptionists replied to one of my questions "what are you talking about!"..this was not polite at all and disappointed me. Wifi Internet and the self-parking service were over priced. Location was good, close to some shops at Pico Blvd. Breakfast was excellent, luckily. Safe boxes are only available at the reception, not in the room.
In conclusion, I would pay a bit more to stay in a better 5-star hotel in the same area if I decided to. May be recommended to others, depending on the room rate at booking time.

Staff are nice enough but does not compensate for a hotel completely out of date. Bar/restaurant old and dark. Rooms small, gloomy bathroom. Curtains with moth holes. Pool is almost in car park. Much prefer Singapore and Antwerp!

the fridge in my room froze and ruined all my groceries
my only day off to enjoy the hotel was ruined by fire alarm drills
my window was covered in bird poop kinda ruined the view
i was given a free dinner voucher for my not nice experience
and front desk person was very nice to me
i was given, i think? a $50 reduction because of all my ruined groceries and front desk person was very nice to me
over-all not so great feeling in hotel
but front desk staff was nice

This is the worst Crowne Plaza that I stayed in. The website showed a nice hotel in Beverly Hills while reality it is not. The hotel would not deserve more than a 2-star rating in my humble opinion. My family and I were shocked when we entered the hotel!!

Staff was good but that's about it. The rooms were old and run down and not very clean. 1st night found used Q tip on the bed. Had to have them change sheets. That is unacceptable.

Location was excellent. Rooms were very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs, especially when minor issues arose. Jose, in particular, went out of his way to assist. I would stay here again without hesitation.
