Convenient Hotel to Beverly Hills, Synagogues, and Pico-Robertson Area

Very conveniently located hotel. It is a 15 minute walk to shops in Beverly Hills. Also very close to many of the nearby Synagogues as well as the restaurants and food shopping in the Pico- Robertson area. Rooms are a nice size and have a coffee and tea maker which is nice. We also had a fridge in our room at no extra cost. Only problem is that in the rooms with Queen beds the bathroom door is right next to the bed. They have a comfy chair by the window but think I would prefer to have the beds moved down and not so close to the bathroom.

Pool is nice but when they are busy there is no towels there so I would bring down a towel. Also there are no signs that say no smoking or no music playing so people feel free to play their music outload. Staff at first thought that they could not tell others to not use their bluetooth speakers but after explaining to them that they indeed had the authority the staff person talked to them and it was much better.

No outlets available on the table by the bed only by the desk and by the walls. However, they get bonus stars for making sure each room has 2 bars of soap. One for sink and one for shower. shower tends to flood so be carefull about making sure the curtains are all pulled. Also unless you take out the drain in the tub/shower, the tub fills up. Water pressure is very good.

The hotel gives out manual keys for those interested. Also they have citrus water down in the lobby. Staff try to be helpful.

Needs Updating

I stay in IHG properties frequently, I am an Ambassor Platnum member. This is the worst property I've ever been to. It's old, it's dirty and it's outdated. It really needs a complete makeover. And the prices in the gift shop are outrageous.
