Old Hotel; Needs updating

This property really requires some updating and maintenance. Mattress and pllows were lumpy, sink did not drain, furniture, wallpaper and carpets etc are old. Given the proximity of other hotels nearby that are not significantly more expensive than this, I would say there is little value for money here.

Clean hotel in need of refurbishment

Whilst all staff were friendly and helpful, the place is run down. The brown 70s look is not very inviting. Rooms clean and basics provided.
The breakfast menu needs to be spruced up and more variety provided.
Location only fair. Better off staying near Hollywood Bwd, as nothing around this area. Sunset strip is boring.

Fantastic Concierge Service

The most outstanding feature of the hotel was Adrienne, the concierge. She was so friendly and helpful and after asking us some questions about our interests, presented us with a number of tourist options for us to explore. We didn't have a car so another bonus was Adrienne's advice on getting buses and the train. We can't thank Adrienne enough for her excellent customer service. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.
