Staff with filthy coughs

It seemed as though all the staff were suffering from a filthy cough. Every time we were greated by someone they were coughing into their hands a filthy flem laden cough.

This is strange that the manager on duty, not that I ever saw one, didn't make alternative arrangements for these people to be back of house hidden away from the healthy guests.

Try harder management and you might look around once in a while and see it through the eyes of the custom.

Will never stay at Crowne again!

We organised a wedding accommodation package for us and our guests at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, which included one free nights accommodation for us, the wedding couple.

Well after a lot of drama's with guest bookings, the final insult was delivered when we checked out from our stay, after our wedding, to have a very rude customer service manager demand that we pay for our one free night and wouldn't let us leave until we did!

We will never stay at a Crowne or IHG hotel again and will not recommend anyone book their wedding accommodation packages there!

Problem resolving a lost item

My wife and I enjoyed our visit but unfortunately left behind the charger to our IPad in our room. It was located on Monday 23 March and we asked for it to be sent back to us in Sydney. We were assured this would be done but on a COD basis. In view of the cost of the room for 2 nights we considered this was rather mean but agreed. As of today, Friday 27 March, we are still waiting for this item to arrive. It is not satisfactory service from a first class hotel and has significantly impacted on our view of this hotel. We would appreciate advice of when this item was mailed and when we can expect to receive it.
