The breakfast has a variety of food but not of high quality and lack proper cleannesse. The hotel has a room converted into a Gym. Having a gym is an addition to the hotel in this city, but it would have been nice to have a fully equipped gym. February 17, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good overall experience Overall, I can say that I have a good experience with my family in Crowne Plaza Madinah. I can say that your staff (from the reception to the cleaning staff) are doing their best, friendly and welcoming despite the fact that they are very busy entertaining many other guests due to the location and season. This is the only big issue that we faced: We checked in after 12:00 midnight, and were having problem with the door access. None of the card works (even after trying multiple cards from the desk) and the door has to be opened by your staff using a "master-key" card. Though your staff (Mr. Deen and Mr. Omar) who were on duty that night were very helpful, they cannot help me to resolve this issue until the next morning when the IT staff was in. You need to have standby IT staff 24/7. I would like to specially commend your staff, "Mr. Deen" who is very alert and aware of the guests needs. Not only that he helped us with the luggage when we checked in and checked out, he went extra mile in providing us with all the information we need to know regarding the area, transportation to Masjid Nabawi, prayer timings, where to get dates or zamzam in Madinah, etc. He treats everyone politely and is definitely an asset for your hotel. Breakfast was great; furniture and facilities were great, room was clean and the cleaning staff are doing good job (as my kids were messing up the room). Though the location is relatively quite far from women's gate of Masjid Nabawi, transportation is provided for every prayer. Best regards. February 1, 2014
