The housekeeping staff was always available, friendly, helpful, and colorful. Everyone not only greeted myself and my guests with smiles and hellos, but, they also would compliment us on our appearance.
The staff would go out of it's way to assist me and were enjoyable to work with.

ive stayed at this location on several occasions. the staff is friendly and ive enjoyed staying in and eating/drinking at the in house restuarant. rooms could use some updating, lobby and common areas are nice. restuarants and shopping within walking distance. a good value for Madison - a market which, in my opinion, has overpriced lodging.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay. I travel for my job and they always make me feel like I'm at home. I refer a lot of my associates to this hotel.

We've stayed here many times and it is always a treat. The employees are dedicated to doing the finest job they can. The atmosphere and ambiance is wonderful. The grill and bar area is very comfortable, although I would suggest that you also extend your happy hour to include the weekend nights as well. Food is very good and fairly priced. We will probably be back in Feb. on next trip to the Minneapolis Mn. area.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza to attend a business conference being held at the hotel. The room was much better than I anticipated. It was very clean and had all the amenities one expects. The bed was comfortable, though it is on the firm side. The varied firmness of the pillows was great because I was able to choose one that I preferred.
For improvement, the Fitness Room is is need of serious updating. the equipment is old and not functioning properly. The restaurant service also had a lot to be improved upon. I ordered a simple yogurt and granola, expecting it to take the kitchen less than 5 minutes to prepare since I arrived early and there were only a few guests, and they had already been served their meals. 20 minutes later, I was still waiting.

Love the way the room is set up in two areas. Love the amenities, the bed and pillows are great. It's quiet and clean. We feel pampered. Even the toiletries are above average.

First room I was given the heat didn't work at all. Prompt response by engineering to see what was wrong. Engineer said he would get me another room. Changed rooms and durning the night the heat in my new room stopped. Otherwise not a bad stay.

For a nice hotel that is as large as it is the fitness room is lacking.
They have one elliptical that will not operate at full resistance - the belt slips. Also the handles are taped with electrical tape - pretty cheesy.
The exercise bike - on switch does not work.
The treadmill seemed to work until I got to 2.7 of my 3.1mile workout then it quit. After a few minutes it let reset and start over.
Basically they have junk. Not putting their best foot forward.
