Great Staff

Friendly, knowledgable and very professional staff. I was working at the airport and make numerous trips back and forth the staff was very accomodating with my work schedule. It was so convenient to have a wonderful restaurant that was a good value and a great selection.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!

We previously booked our reservation on line and arrived at the hotel approx. 30 minutes before the 4pm check-in time. Upon check in, the "trainee" was not able to look up our priority club member number. Later we had another desk staff look it up and the wrong number was entered on our bill. So I doubt we got credit for our night's stay.

We requested and got a King Executive Level Suite room. There was nothing executive about this room. The furniture in the living room was something out of the 1990s....dirty beyond belief and actually had holes in it. Tried to turn on a floor lamp in the living room and found it was unplugged. The drapes in the bed room had tears in the valance. The wallpaper in the bathroom in this room was pulling away at some of the seams; there was smudges that looked like blood on the back of the bathroom door, and the overall cleanliness lacked. Even worse - our room had what sounded like a freight train rolling over the roof. Finally when we couldn't take the noise any longer -- approx. 10:20 p.m. we called the front desk to complain and a maintenance man came to check out the noise and said the air exchanger on the roof needed to be fixed. Then we were given a new room which the maintenance man checked out for noise and it was okay. The maintenance man apologized for the room; he said he believed he knew what the problem was. He told us we would receive two tickets for a complimentary buffet breakfast. This maintenance person was the only person at the hotel that actually gave the impression of caring about us as their hotel guest.

So at approx. 10:30 p.m. we moved to a room on the same floor about six doors down from where we originally were. The room was not noisy, but the same cleanliness problem with the sofa appeared to be just as dirty as the first room. The drapes in the bedroom, while not as worn as our first room, didn't close tightly so we had bright light in our room all night long. The king bed was the most uncomfortable bed we've EVER slept in...the mattress should have been replaced long ago as there was no support in it whatsoever.

We checked out the next morning as planned. The gentleman at the desk never asked how our stay was; he simply processed my exit, and seemed confused when I said I didn't receive a bill under my door so he had to print a new folio for me.

We checked out the breakfast buffet and decided it wasn't worth even the free meal they offered. We gave our vouchers to a few people who were already eating -- I hope they enjoyed their breakfast.

We sincerely hope you can get these issues fixed so future customers don't encounter the same issues we did while staying at your hotel.

We won't be giving your hotel another try. There are many other hotels in Madison, and I'm sure their services will be much better than what we experienced at your hotel.
