Noise

This is the 1st time I have ever had to complain in my 5 years as a Platinum member.
I stayed in room 123 an executive room, the room its self was great and the room service perfect. However he noise coming from the extractor fans is horrendous. At 10:30 I contacted reception and asked what this noise was and was told they were not sure and would speak to the duty manager and get back to me. Reception call me back within 5 minutes and explained that it was from the extractor fans and will stop in 20 minutes when the kitchen closes, ok that's fine I said. At 12:20 this noise is still going on but I eventually fell asleep. At 06:00 guess what noise came on again? Yes you have it the extractor fans :(.
When I checked out of the hotel I was asked the customary question of did you have a pleasant stay and I was about to give the usual answer of yes but as the duty manager was stood with the receptionist I thought I would explain what had happened, well ive never seen anyone disappear so quickly as he did. The receptionist apologised and said she will pass my comments on.
Not heard anything so far and doubt I will but if you get offered room 123 then ask for a room transfer or go and sleep on the golf course.

I stayed at the Five Lakes resort for one night last week returning following a one night stay three weeks ago. The reception staff were very courteous and helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. The bed and quality of bed linen and duvet were high resulting in a very good night's sleep.

There was unfortunately a damp odour in the room which was unpleasant and although I would return to this hotel I would ask not to be accommodated in the same room for that reason. I wanted to work on my lap top and could not get the internet to work so that proved frustrating.

Despite the above issues, it proved to be a good night's rest and a pleasant stay and great value for money.

Great hotel, fabulous spa, lovely staff.

Booked bed, dinner and breakfast. The food was not very good at all, it didn't match the quality of the hotel.
