A: Hotel is brilliant, fantastic room, bathroom and Bed. Very clean and comfortable. I really love the idea of priority member's floor, a great idea. Free Wi-Fi in my room which is very good. Don't understand why other hotels charge for Wi-Fi
B: Great Location, close to all amenities.
B: Bar area is very nice and I love the idea that you can get good quality food at the bar, after the restaurant is closed.
C: Car park available opposite the Hotel
D: Charges for drink, car park and food are slightly expensive, but overall, a very good quality hotel. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it.

From the initial correspondence with the reservation agent, I knew this would be a great stay. Emails were returned very promptly and all communications were very pleasant. I had to make a slight change to my reservation and this was done with ease. I also had communications with the concierge who helped in arranging a car rental. I also had a package sent to the hotel a few days in advance of my stay and it was kept for me (even though the name on the package did not match my reservation name...thanks again for that!!). Checking in was easy and quick. The room itself, along with the bathroom was very spacious and clean. My room also had big windows which was nice during the evenings. The full complimentary English breakfast was more than enough to get you to lunch. All options are included (too many to name) and that value cannot be beat!! The location of the hotel is great, with a short walk to the Arndale Centre and Printworks, as well as Piccadilly station (12 min walk). It's also across the street from Shudehill station and is very close to the Northern Quarter (good shopping). This has easily become by hotel of choice for Manchester and I will definitely be staying here in the future.

The hotels position was excellent for the concert we went too! A two minute walk and we were there. The staff were very helpful and friendly, The girls loved every minute and really enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast…The only thing the room could of done with was a docking music system as I forgot to bring my charger and that would of done the trick….we will be back very comfortable beds :)

We stay here whenever we visit Manchester and have never had a bad experience yet. We’ve tried others in the area but the Crowne offers the best value for money, comfort and great service all in the heart of the city.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the Crowne Plaza Manchester for a great overnight stay. Originally booked by our Children as a 50th birthday gift to accommodate us whilst staying overnight in Manchester planned back in January with tickets to go see Meat Loaf on his final tour. Devastated to find out gig was cancelled the night before. We decided to still travel to Manchester & stay over. I emailed the hotel for any suggestions with their local knowledge ,after struggling to find something on the Internet to entertain us on the Wednesday night. My son had arranged with the manager the Friday before our stay ( him & his wife stayed the night) for an upgrade from standard room to a club king room with access to the club room. When we arrived after a 35 min train ride ( we chose to leave the car in parbold 5 mins from home and travel by train at a cost of £9.10 return each on a duo ticket - was cheaper to buy these and not use the returns than to pay for 2 single tickets each way ) got off train & hotel was approximately a 5 minute walk. we were greeted at reception by a lovely young lady. After a couple of confusing conversations we find that we have been upgraded again to a club suite. We were on the 3rd floor and Our door card gave us access to the club room on the eighth floor which is a private room for club room guests only ... Providing free soft and alcoholic drinks between 6pm and 8pm. We enquired with the hotel reception when booked in if they had received my email and could they assist with recommendations for the evening. We were advised that we would receive a call in our room in a short while to which we did with suggestions of local activity. We got changed, utilized the free tea / coffee in our room & then went in the Club room about 7:10pm. The club room was about 75% occupied when we arrived. Very friendly waiter offered us drinks and served us with well portioned drinks of anything we chose and kept this up for the time we remained in there. We got chatting to numerous other guests and had a lovely giggly start to a fab evening. We went out for a meal and then called in to the hotel bar on our return for a night cap before going up to bed. The bar was ultra modern with a fantastic ambient feel and surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening. Our suite was lovely consisting of a lounge with white leather suite desk chair & lamp all with the contemporary design, ample hanging space, lovely 2 sink bathroom and iron / board and suit case holder. Bedroom had the biggest bed you have seen which was about 3 foot high which just curled around you when you got in. Best nights sleep away from home that I have experienced. Complementary breakfast in the morning again in the club room where we did self serve continental breakfast with ample choices. The same guy from the previous night who had looked after us in there again cleared away our used plates with a helpful cheery attitude . Check out was smooth and took no more than three minutes to complete. Just a wonderfully enjoyable carefree nights stay away from home. Thank you Crowne Plaza we will definitely be recommending you to all. Meat Loaf concert now rescheduled for 25th may .. Our wedding anniversary is 24th may so we're thinking about staying I've that night and if we do it will be at the Plaza without a doubt !!!!

Not great surroundings, but once inside a lovely hotel with excellent rooms and very quiet.
No wifi in the rooms which is disappointing.
Gymnasium is very poor for a hotel of this size and quality.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are completed to a very good specification, including a great bed/ linen. Room service was good, as was the food.
The only disappointing thing was that there was no WiFi service which surprised me for such a new building.

Only stayed for 1 night and will definitely go back again. Hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel 2 minute walk from Arndale centre and 5 mins from MEN Arena.

We always use this hotel when attending events at the MEN Arena - its location is also convenient for the City Centre and public transport (we leave the car at home and travel to Manchester by train). We were pleased to see that breakfast tea is now served fresh in pots at the table (a vast improvement on the flasks of days gone by); were disappointed that one of the staff recommended the wrong tram stop for The Lowry, leaving us with a longer walk on a cold, wet day, but the overall comfort of the hotel and welcoming attitude of the staff made up for that one little mistake. Even the fact that Manchester Council were resurfacing the road outside at night didn't stop us from sleeping soundly!

The room was amazing, we were in the presidential suite. I made a note on the comments that it was a special occasion and there was a bottle of wine and a card in the room which was a lovely touch. The club lounge was amazing with the complimentary drinks and snacks and the waiter in the lounge had excellent customer service. An excellent stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

New hotel with all amenities. Tastefully decorated. Great location. We went for a Man U football game and it was easy to get to the stadium. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely use this hotel when we go back.

We stayed here for the Easter Weekend and we had a fabulous time. We were in Manchester to watch Cirque Du Soleil, The Immortal Tour performing at the Manchester Arena. It turned out that the performers were also staying at the Crowne Plaza. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Food in the restaurant was outstanding too. Well done. We will be back. Modern hotel with helpful staff, the bedroom and bathroom are spotless, wish i could have take the bed home because it was one of the best sleeps i have had in a long time.
Breakfast good selection of hot/cold food, hot food was cooked just right not over cooked or raw.
KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT SERVICE

This hotel is a great location for Manchester's night life and for shopping. Free bus service almost passes the door to city centre locations and theatres if you don't want to walk! From check in to check out (the valet parking is a great hassle free feature) thestaff are efficient and friendly . Definitely the place to stay. Rooms are very stylish, warm and comfortable.

we really enjoyed our stay at The Crown Plaza, the rooms where very comfortable and clean. It is in a perfect location, as it is only a five minute walk away from the shops and busy city centre. My two girls were going to see their first concert (One Direction).
The staff was very helpful in providing us with a map, and showing us how to get there.
The only downside to our stay was the bar, as we felt it was very quiet, cold and uninviting even though the guitarist was great.
We would definately stop again, and recommend to others.

Quite a good hotel in a convenient location. The staff have always been quite friendly and check-in/check-out is quite efficient. What the hotel rooms could do with is:
1. Better lighting inside the rooms
2. WIFI in the rooms, this is currently available only in the lobby.

A well presented modern twin with a great bathroom.
Complimentary biscuits had great flavor and with two varieties, ginger and chocolate, I was in my element.
The cinnamon shampoo was also a highlight. I departing smelling like a prince.
