Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wi Fi service While the hotel was good, this was the first time in our month in England where I had to pay for Wi-Fi. The 5 pounds an hour is expensive particularly as the high speed is not very high speed. Connection time to sites was too long so an hour goes by very fast. At 5 pounds for two hours would be more reasonable but still a bit of a cheek charging for it in the first place. June 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Offered Much Needed Peace My husband and I were thrilled to get to the hotel after our rental car breakdown two hours ealier. The staff was very efficient and our room was lovely. Breakfast the next morning was expensive by US standards, but delicious, so overall our stay was excellent. There was no charge for the shuttle to the airport. June 14, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unhelpful My allocated room was unacceptable, I was told there was no other room meeting my requirements available and I had to speak with the GM before this was changed. My profile clearly indicates my requirements and the GM was more interested in defending their inability to check what their clients require than listen to my complaint and suggestions. A little more customer focus wouldn't go amiss. Not representative of my other stays at IHG hotels. I think some staff (in the restaurant) were excellent but were let down by some of their colleagues. June 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal location and service My wife and I stopped overnight ready for an early morning flight. The staff, room and overall service were excellent. Good food in the restaurant in the evening and a good breakfast set us up for the day. (Best to avoid the rubbish served on the flights these days!). The courier service was excellent and collecting the car was ideal. It's a pity Manchester Airport cannot provide the same customer service experienced at the Crowne Plaza. Never known any airport go down hill so fast. June 13, 2013

We have stayed at the Manchester airport Crown Plaza on many occasions both before a flight and on our return using the park and fly facility. We have always found it to be a relaxing start to our holiday and a good nights sleep is always guaranteed. The room is always the perfect temperature with a powerful shower and very clean throughout. The only criticism I have is the cost of the breakfast which I consider to be on the high side but is in line with all other airport hotels. All in all I would recommend this hotel and will be back at the start of our next holiday! June 10, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff is excellent. We got excellent service from everyone. Quick check-in and check-out. Front desk arranged for a cab for us to get to the airport since we required a cab for someone in our group who wouldn't be able to get on the shuttle. The hotel provided it as a courtesy. Breakfast was very good. Beds were very comfortable. Had a good night's sleep. I like booking through Priority Club --so convenient when done through their iPhone app while traveling. The big accessible bathroom was spotless and very large and could accommodate a wheelchair in there. The bathtub is not accessible for someone truly wheelchair bound. It is OK for people needing minimal assistance who have some mobility. We've used this hotel for several years due to its convenience to the airport. Would recommend for sure. June 3, 2013
