We have been coming to this hotel for the past ten years and have found it lovely to stay at rooms very comfortable staff very friendly and efficient looking forward to our next stay in October.

Ideal location for an overnight stay before an early flight. Sampans restaurant is very relaxing, with gluten free options. Beds are extremely clean and comfotable allowing a good nights sleep, with a wake up call for a 4.30am breakfast.

Stayed for 1 night on business. Have stayed here several times before and find it to be a nice hotel. Drinks and food are very expensive and as a priority customer I have never been offered any sort of upgrade or priority service, I find this aspect of the hotel dissapointing.

As usual, a very good experience, staying overnight to catch a very early flight out. Check-in fine, room perfect as usual, food in the bar excellent (if too much!) and reasonably priced.
Check-out smooth and a speedy no-hassle transfer to the airport terminal three at 03.30 am.
What more could one ask?

Over 70 nights in the Crwon Plaza chain hotels in last 12 months and at least 30 at this hotel , yet no recognition of Platinum status
Priority Queue at check in has longer wait than main line
Change in hotel policy for lounge use not communicated in advance
Room upgrades not fortthcoming in last 7 visits ( or mentioned at check in
Vanity items not refilled daily
No designated parking for hotel guests ( not fliers)
Hotel is not looking after its regular guests , priority club members and lets down brand image

Worst Crowne Plaza I have ever stayed in. The rooms are so tiny that you cannot open your suitcase without falling over it. The bathroom is so small that it has a sign to make sure you close the door when showering as the steam will set off the smoke detector in the bedroom! Asked for another room, none available. I am a priority Gold member and that was not mentioned or taken into account. Beds were on rollers and not locked into position. Moved at the slighest motion. Finally went to another nearby hotel. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

We have used the stay and park service at the crowne plaza manchester airport on a number of occassions.
We only live 25 minutes away from the airport but use this hotel when on an early flight , and as an early start to our holiday.
We had a evening meal , which was very good
This time we booked in our selves and son and daughter in law
whilst our room was good my son and wife had to move rooms four times due to the heating not working in each room
instead of starting the holiday refreshed they spent 3 hours moving rooms.
We left the hotel early the next morning,and was greated by the desk clerk with a bill for an additional days parking above the 8 days we had paid for, which we then had to dispute whilst attenpting to get to the terminal to check in.
not the best start to a holiday and one which we will not repeat

Arrived very late on return from holiday and allocated room without delay. However after only 5 minutes in the room we realised that the A/C although switched off was making an horrendous noise. We contacted reception and were immediately moved to another (upgraded) room. The service throughout was excellent and we also received a complimentary breakfast. We stay at this hotel whenever we fly from Manchester and would deffinately recommend it.

We arrived at 2am and didn't have a booking and the lady at Check In couldn't be more helpful. She sgreed to match the rate I thought I'd booked at. Gave us access to the Priority Club area so we could grab a drink, wireless, some nibbles and a paper.
After trudging up to the room we ordered room service which a lovely soup. Filling, hot and tasty. Good TV to see what was happening in the world. Noise from aircraft taking off nearby was almost non existent. A non issue.
Bathroom was a pleasant surprise, especially at that hour of the night. Bed was even better, extremely comfortable with a good range of pillows. Breakfast was fresh, good variety and good value.
At check out we were offered a courtesy van to the train station which was much appreciated.
This hotel changed my views about airport hotels as a concept and I can see why this one was popular with reps, business people and visitors. Very worthwhile.

This stay started off well - we were collected from the airport quite promptly even though it was late and check in was great too. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the cleanliness of the room.
Someone had obviously spilt a little wine on the table by the mini bar (which was empty when we arrived) which had dribbled down the drawer fronts and handles - so although the main spill was gone the sticky dribbles were still there as was the dust: under the mini bar; on the bedside shelves; and behind the stopper on the bathroom floor. Had it not been so late I would probably have asked to be move there and then but it was late I was tired and the sheets were clean so we just went to bed.
I did mention this at check out and the duty manager came to speak to us, she was nice, apologetic and said she would inspect the room as it wasn't the standard expected by the hotel, so hopefully next time things will be better.

I have now used this hotel and car parking facility twice The first occaision was perfect, no need to comment or complain. In short perfect. On the second occaision I found the hotel fine, the meal fine, the staff fine, but to leave me standing in the freezing cold for nearly an hour after a holiday in the canaries was appalling. From 22.7 degreesto 0.0 degrees is a bit difference. Having to phone twice to be told "its the driver" and by the driver "i didn,t get a call" really is not good enough. So this will reflect on future bookings.

Stayed here for the second time with the hotel's 'park, stay & go' deal meaning a restful night's sleep knowing we only had to get up 30 mins before our flight check-in. Lovely spacious room which was very quiet. Good meal in hotel restaurant (Sampan) although we thought the prices had gone up and the choice had been reduced since our last visit (about 14 months ago)

We've stayed here on a number of occasions and have been pleased with the service we have received. However, on this occasion we were allocated a room that hadn't been cleaned, which at 12.45am after a long flight was not ideal. After I went back and reported this to reception we were moved to a Club room, so the problem was resolved, but it shouldn't really have happened in the first place.

We stayed overnight prior to flying out on holiday. We parked our car at the hotel while away. We really enjoyed our evening meal in the Sampans Restaurant and breakfast in the main hotel restaurant. When returning from holiday we flew overnight and arrived at the airport at 08:45 and at the hotel at 09:45 and were immediately given a room without having to wait until the usual checking in time. This was really appreciated. We spent the remainder of the day in our room before enjoying another delicious meal at Sampans. After a comfortable night we had another delicious breakfast. We have stayed here before and if we are flying from Manchester will stay here again: we consider it part of our holiday.

A good quality hotel within easy walking distance of T1 and 3 Manchester Airport and regular shuttle to 1,2 and 3. Great for a short stay when leaving on or arriving from a flight but the location makes a longer stay an unattractive prospect

Rooms are confortable. Large TV choices.
Although I am priority club member, reception service is slow.
It takes to much time before you get your key
At my first vist, had same problem and I was even allocated a wrong room (had to change)
Wireless not free
No clear rates for additional services like internet, video, ...

Excellent place to stay to catch an early plane. Ate in the Asian restaurant which was great.
Word of warning to travellers with a lot of luggage, the rooms are very small.

Who pays nowadays for wifi? And so slow...
Waiters in the restaurant quite rude and slow too.
Even with the heating the room was freezing. The only good thing is they give you a ride to the terminal. But I was a nightmare to get to the hotel due to works on the road, even with the GPS.

Ease of booking, good reception staff and very clean/comfortable rooms. One big concern over such a 'small' issue - for paying hotel guests - WIFI facility should be free of charge; for me this is a major reason for not using Crowne Plaza as often as I might. Hopefully this can be rectified in near future.

Never tried Crowne Plaza before so decided to give it a try.
Booked our stay well in advance requesting a quiet room as we had a long journey ahead but ended up with probably the noisiest, sounded like a tumble dryer operating.
The fact we were unpacked and ready for bed couldnt be bothered with the hassle of moving rooms, out came earplugs !
Would'nt use again.

Even though my booking was a “walk-in” and I had to change rooms a couple of times to meet my taste but at the end, the stay was a wonderful experience which was not possible but because of the great staff who were always there for me and they were so attentive. You would experience a whole different world when you stay here so I will not hesitate the next time I am around to stop by
