This was my second stay at this hotel & will return in the next few months.
Not a luxurious property but very good standard & great helpful staff who are always friendly.
Discovered DFO shopping on my last morning, just a 5minute walk away. Shame I didn't have enough time there LOL!

Always receive great service from the staff. Beds are very comfortable & love the location & view over the the river. Proximity to Casino & Etihad are ideal.

We had friends and family discount and stayed in a delux river view room. The hotel is nice, but it's not great and is a basic four star hotel. The bathrooms are tired, the bed comfort is okay and the curtains are very good at blocking out traffic noise. They were clean and functional.
The breakfast was great and our check in service was great. However when we were driving there I had to call three times with no success on finding out off what street we access the hotel.
The first time we rang I was told that I'd come through to the wrong person and I had to talk to the front desk and she could not transfer me. I rang back, there was no front desk option, but I chose another option where I was put on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. I then rang again and the person who answered could not tell me what street we needed to enter the hotel from nor did they even attempt to help. As a result we parked in the wrong car park, had to pay $10 to move our car out of that into another car park where we only had to pay $13 for the overnight stay. I was not impressed before I got there.
I wouldn't recommend it to my friends nor would I want to stay there again. It's a nice, well located and suitable hotel if you're on business, want a great location, etc.

We booked 2 rooms- one had a fabulous view.
They were very comfortable.
The reception staff were excellent as was concierge.
Overall a very enjoyable and fairly priced hotel.

Great city location very convenient to south bank and the convention centre. Room was OK bed comfortable. No free wifi for guests which I would expect. Probably needs a paint job and a 'trig up'. Breakfast was adequate without being exciting There is an individual cooked breakfast area. Would I stay again. Maybe but not first choice.

Comfortable room overall, maybe better shows on tv shower nozzell makes a mess with water going over the bathtub, but all good.

I have been staying at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne for probably 6-7 years. Last year it did not appear on the company's approved hotel list. I was very disappointed. This year it is back, and I have not stayed in another hotel in Melbourne since.
For all the yars I have stayed there, Stan your evening concierge has welcomed me. He is a wonderful asset to your hotel.

Great location, close to transport, eg city circle tram. Short walk from Southern Cross Station. Staff were great.
