Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Pate, Eddie B. I had an excellent stay here. It was short, but met my expectations and the staff was friendly and courteous. I was dissapointed that I had to pay taxes even though I was on official buisness travel using my offical Travel Card, but was told I had to have a form filled out prior to booking the stay which I would have not known anything about since I am a resident of Colorado and not Tennessee. I wished that they could go off of our official Travel orders which I had in hand. September 12, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Adequate The room was dated. The under-mount sink in the bathroom was very badly caulked to try to make the ill-fitting sink fit. It was kind of gross. However, the a/c worked well and the bed was comfortable. None of the ice machines on floors 4,5,6 or 7 worked, they just had a sign on each machine stating, "out of order." Why doesn't management direct guests to a floor with a working ice machine? I walked into the dining room one morning for breakfast and I was swarmed by 3 waitresses all seeming to compete with each other as to whose customer I was- a very odd and uncomfortable situation. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. Either rent a car or take advantage of the shuttle service- you don't want to be walking alone at night, i.e., to Beale Street or to get some snacks at the closest gas station. September 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful Staff We had a nightmare start to our stay in Memphis, but Darrell the backshift customer services manager, was very helpful and assisted us making local calls to a number of persons to help us try and alleviate our problems. He went above and beyond the pale to help. Also the shuttle service was excellent (De and Taylor) and run us where we needed to go to sort things out. They are a great advert not only for Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental, but for the people of Memphis. September 5, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very helpful and considerate staff through out the hotel However the overall appearance, lack of freshness in the guest rooms and bathrooms, no ice on my floor, no refrigerator or microwave and dated decor left much to be desired. My husband and I were there for a class reunion and we stayed out of the room most of the time during our stay and that made it bearable. Had we not had friends staying at this hotel for the event we would have gone to an alternate hotel. September 5, 2014
