Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Carlos57 Internet Access
I had stayed in this hotel for sever times and I always complain about the Internet access, it is very slow and does not allow executives to work in the room. This could be a reason for many of us to leave and look for another alternative. Please do something about this.

As usual when staying at this property, I very much enjoyed my stay. Room was quiet and comfortable; service was excellent. Staying on the 8th floor, nice to be able to grab a light breakfast each morning on 9th floor before heading off to business.
Only 2 minor complaints:
1. wireless continues to be spotty; sometimes it works well, other times so slow as to be not worth the effort to connect in the room.
2. curtain would not close completely, maintenance did come and improve the situation but I had to "jury rig" a solution with paper clips to keep the privacy curtain closed during the night. It worked, but not ideal (room 1806)

The Hotel could use an update its looking a bit rough. The food was a downfall, compared to my last trip to Mexico City.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Konrad Key Service is sub standard
On two occasions, the room key failed and I had to go 7 floors down to the lobby to get a new key. Management just said this happens, did not apologize, and made no attempt to say they wanted to fix the key system. Rarely experience bad keys at other hotels, certainly never twice. Also shocked that management just made excuses and did not apologize. Other than that, excellent hotel, nice, friendly staff and good location.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PalFer One of the best Hotels in Mexico City
This Hotel is located in a centric, fantastic and very safe area. Many good Restaurants, Coffee Shops, well known Stores and even a nice Supermarket are located at a convenient walking distance from the Hotel. The " Insurgentes " Ave. one of the Mexico city´s most important boulevards is just couple blocks from The Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Hotel Staff is one of the best in town they are very helpful and professional .

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kelly39 WIFI awful and safety concerns.
The hotel was clean and the employees were very courteous. The WIFI service, although offered was pointless. The WIFI while able to connect was so slow I could not do any work on it. My colleagues commented that it was the same in their rooms as well - the connectivity at the hotel prevented me from being able to work while traveling. Additionally the hotel staff at check in, the bell boy and others mentioned my room number outloud and in front of other guests. Out of courtesy for guest's and their safety their room numbers should not be mentioned or announced outloud, rather referred to by writing them down or pointing to them on written papers. When I asked if a colleague had checked in yet, the hotel staff gave me their room number without asking further questions - it seemed as though the staff was not well versed regarding the importance of guest privacy.
