In order to maintan a good title keeping brand name, you may encourage to at leat start to change some furnitures inside rooms such as loftseat, tv set, carpet, I've been use this property since a long time and it would be fine if a new twist apply will be well receiced.

I spent 5 nights at the Hotel De Mexico and enjoyed myself immensely. I recommend it highly and plan to return myself.

This was my 5th stay here. I keep coming back primarily because of its 2 block proximity to the World Trade Center. It is an a neighborhood that I feel safe walking to a restaurant, or to Av Insurgentes, an main shopping/dining zone. There is a huge Sears store and a NEW limited mall (with an MacStore) 1 block away.
The rooms are always clean, high-tech, good pillows/ mattresses, bath AND shower with plenty of hot water, good, fast wi-fi in room, free bottled water , if you're the "nervous" type. Two good on -site restaurants (I like the breakfast buffet) PLUS a lobby cafe and bar, good "people service" all the way around, including highly visible active security.
I also suggest you spend the little extra to get a room allowing access to the Concierge lounge on floor #9....free snacks, meeting area, continental breakfast, etc.
My complaints? The fitness center is a joke (cheap, broken equipment ) and the price of copies or outputs at the Business Center seemed really high.

I been stay in this property from a while, and is time to re-deco and renew almost all the part of hotel, the only confortable is the bed, but is too noisy the climate control in one od the sided outside hotel, almost all floors has this terrible noice, dirty and old carpets, furniture, etc, the only one in my case is the nearest part to do business otherwise since a long time A go I would rather choose a better selection in shape and price.
But next year may I 'll do so.

Rooms not bad. Lounge not bad. Fitness Center contained donated workout machines that were broken. If you are a fitness nut, go elsewhere.

I have to recognize that my last stay at the Crowne Plaza World Trade Center was fantastic. I recommend this hotel for their staaf service and their bed and pillows. I really rested every night!.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are comfortable. However, I had the feeling the whole time I was there that I was an inconvenience or annoyance to the staff. I talked to some of my associates and they noticed the same thing. When I checked in it was here is your card elevators around the corner, I ended up going the wrong way and had to ask some where they were. When I ate dinner in the restaurant there was only two of us there and it tookalmost 10 minutes after I was seated to get a menu then once I put the menu it took some time to get a waiters attention as they were standing around talking to their co-workers more interested in the conversation then waiting on me. I have been a Priority Rewards member for 15+ years and receive better service or at least feel more welcome at the Holiday Inn Expresses I stay at then I did here.

Regardless of multiple inquires, there was no telephone service in my room for 2 days; this really prevent me to perform certain duties.
Although I am content with my stay in this location, I feel like the service attitude has decreased a notch.

10 year client, until 2 month ago, when on my last visit, i had a non identify charge on my credit account. After reviewing with my bank, the receipt was sent and confirmed that it had a signature other than mine.
Will continue with the franchise, but with other hotels.

Very comfortable for a romantic dinner nearby, shopping or just have a comfortable time at the hotel. The room very spacious, luxurious and ideal for sleeping in an atmosphere of tranquility despite being in a busy commercial zone.
Along with lobby bar area is ideal for a romantic moment, watch a futball game or just relax.
