Looking at changing to new chain for San Jose

I am a platinum member and have stayed at the San Jose Crowne Plaza numerous times. I don't recommend this hotel for business travel, and will only be staying there in the future as a last resort.

This trip my internet connection did not work the entire week, and the management responsiveness was very poor. I have also been told almost every stay that a zero balance receipt would be added to my profile for easier early morning check out, but that has never happened.

The hotel is often way over-priced for the value. Other IHG brands in the San Jose area are much better. I thought CP was supposed to be a higher end brand, but not so in this location.

Interesting that the responding manager is the same one that told me the issue would be fixed and would call back but never followed through with either. This happened both days. No recognition of issue when it was clearly identified in real time and zero offer to rectify any other way = poor customer service. This week I also did not receive a call back as promised when inquiring about a reservation so I am at a different hotel Why would contacting you now after the fact make a difference?
