I was very happy with this hotel the free shuttle service to the Airport was a bonus! This place is in top shape the rooms are very nice and modern, the food and bar were great very well priced and nice folks working there all around! BTW the parking was free too not to mention the WiFi so they will be seeing me again with out question!

I arrived at the hotel early, therefore my room wasn't ready. I asked the counter three times and kept being told 3:00, whole all others from our group were getting their rooms. I asked the attendant at the counter to call another room where we were waiting to advise us when the room would be ready. We had to leave at 3:30 in order to get to the soccer field. When we went to the counter at 3:30, the attendant had still not contacted us. When I inquired again about my room, my name could not be found.
When finally it was found, I was on a completely separate floor from my group, when I was initially told I would be on the same floor as my group. As I had no time to argue about this, we left for the soccer field.
I was not asked if I was a Priority Club Member, which I am.

I've always liked staying are Crown Plaza properties. This hotel was a bit disappointing. And that says something given that I have learned to expect less from airport hotels. Anyway, the soundproofing on the doors joining from room to room is non-existent. While the industrial location is a must to maintain airport proximity, the hotel itself is not up to the normal standards of the Crown Plaza brand.

Came back on Saturday night from a trip south, call for a shuttle and told me it was on the way but waited 45 min in -15C with summer cloths for the shuttle. Had to share a overcrowded little van with other angry customer. Way to end a vacation.

Shuttle service was suppose to be every half hour but took 50 minutes to come to airport plus 10 more minutes as wait time looking if more guests were coming. In the mean time we saw 3 to 4 rounds of shuttles for other airport hotels.
On my way back from hotel..again the shuttle didn't come on time in-spite of booking in advance. I was close to my flight time in the morning. I chose airport hotel due to this early morning flight from Montreal. Thanks to one of the driver who took a smaller van and dropped me to airport after he saw that shut,e was again late by 20 minutes.
Front office staff was good but had no control on the shuttle service. I will not chose to stay in the hotel next time at least in Montreal.
No major issues with other services.

I find this hotel has extremely friendly staff. From the front desk to the team servicing the breakfast area. value for your money is excellent however issues with the heating system and poor wifi speed are something that needs improvement. Interior decoration of the rooms needs some upgrades. This hotel has been around for years under different banners, unfortunatly the decor is antiquated and definetly needs an upgrade.

The weekend parking is an issue and is very hard to find and the hotel has not done any thing about it plus the heating system did not work !st night and the weather was -20 out side and had to wear 2 pairs of socks plus 3 layers cloths to keeping me from freezing till morning and when i ask why the heat did not work they said they knew as the week before the unit above had the same problem and the week before that was the unit above that so it leads me to think the week after would be the unit below

I have been staying at this hotel once in the summer and once in the winter in the Executive floor for the last few years. I am seriously considering making it the last time. My issue with this property is that the temperature in the rooms in the winter is about 67 degrees and you do not have control over it. Complaining and having an expert come to try it to fix the problem do not help. It is too cold to be comfortable.

The in hotel restaurant offered a "special" on a prime rib dinner.
It was a meal I will never forget.
The so called prime rib was COLD in the middle and was almost impossible to cut through with a knife.
Hotel Staff, Room and amenities were otherwise as one would expect at a Crowne Plaza, but not this particular dinner. It really negated an otherwise enjoyable stay.

the room was very nice looking the bed was just ok and the price good. the worst part is the shutle to go back to the hotel from the airport they just come at the 45 and the 15 min and they always late we wait 45 min witn 2 yound kids:( .they only have 1 shutle that why why. So if your not in a hurry it a good deal oherwise go with holiday inn express or the mariott.

We stayed one night at this hotel, parked our car for 8 days and used the shuttle to/from the airport. It was one of the best choices we made and we were very happy with the hotel and its services.
Upon arrival, we were given a free drink from their bar (to start our vacation) and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. we parked at the back of the hotel (gated) and used their wake-up call and shuttle service to the airport. The shuttle was on time and the driver helped load the luggages (very nice guy).
When we returned from the airport, we called the hotel and they mentioned that the shuttle arrives every 30 minutes. 2 minutes before their scheduled arrival we went out and the shuttle came on time and again helped with loading/unloading the luggages.
The price we paid vs the hotel quality + parking + on-time shuttle was definitely worth it and i highly recommend this hotel and will choose this hotel for future as well.
park-n-fly for 8 days at the airport would've been close to $80-$90 and one-night at any hotel is typically around ~$100-$150...we paid ~110 for one night/parking/shuttle!! can't ask for a better deal!!!!

The staff here makes it worth coming back, I had a choice to stay downtown at another location and did. I ended up back here, the Staff is very accomidating and Rembers who you are. The room was comfortable, and very spacious. Although nwe did not eat at the restaurant every day, when we did the staff was right on. Thank you to Jennifer, Dimitria, Stephanie, Diesel,and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience.

This is the second time in two months that I have stayed here and was picked up at the airport 45 minutes after my flight arrived. The hotel states the shuttle runs every half an hour but they have the discretion to come at their own convenience. Our company stays at this hotel often and all of my co-workers state the shuttle bus driver is never ontime to pick up at the airport. It is a real shame because the last two times we arrived we waited 45 minutes in the cold. The visit on Deember 8th was the worst ever, I was very cold waiting for the driver, we called the hotel and the hotel operator told us the driver would be picking us up in less than 5 mins, but we waited for another 12 minutes after that call before the shuttle driver arrived. Once we were inside the shuttle I requested to have the heat turned on because I was very cold but the shuttle driver refused to turn it on stating the engine was cold and needed to warm up...why was the engiine cold? Anyway the drive to the hotel was very cold. Very unsatisfied with the shuttle driver and the front desk servvice as well.

One expects a Crowne Plaza hotel experience to be just that. However, my one night stay at this particular location, was one evening too long.
Because of its reputation, and my past stays at other locations, I booked a suite for the one night. The room was large, musty smelling and shabby. The furniture was a hodgepodge of old wooden pieces that were mismatched and looked disheveled. The Jacuzzi tub did not function when filled, the desktop had no outlets within reach, to which one could plug in a laptop and accessories etc. Need I go on.
The staff, to there credit, were pleasant and helpful, but very overwhelmed.
This hotel should be called a "motel" and save everyone the trouble.

Hotel is very old, dining room is from the 70s and it has not been renewed at all. Staff is not motivated at all. It does not deserve to be a Crowe Plaza hotel.

Having to work in Montreal for a few months I can say that the people at Crowne Plaza have certainly made me feel welcome and "home" as much as possible. From Stephanie, Dimitra, Diesel, Jennifer and all the rest, the moment you check in it's all smiles and the fact they remember your name each time adds a personal touch. I have had the same housekeeper, Josephine the entire time and never had a problem with my room. I have stayed here before and actually booked at a hotel closer to the job site this trip and moved back to the Crowne Plaza after 1 night. I think all the staff can be thanked for making this an enjoyable place to stay.

I was checked in as a Priority Club member very rudely. Lady did not even smile, this seemed to be an issue with all but one room attendant.
My dinner was wrong and way over cooked. Ate it anyway as I was starving from being on road all day. Then told Waiter I was done asked for check and waited another 20 min, went to counter and he laughed that he had forgot about me! 10 people were in the room.
I went to breakfast sat at my table with newspaper, told waiter I was having buffet, went got my food and came back to table occupied by another person. They did not have another newspaper or table for 5 min!
Go to another hotel. Not worth the premium price.

The staff I encountered Saturday through Thursday for my stay were always polite, friendly & professional - meeting & exceeding expectations. Unfortunately for the 1st two nights the air conditiong was out (or chillers off for the season & it was unusually warm).
On 1st night Saturday I reported it - too hot, Sunday was told it would be Monday prior till "repairs are completed". I requested they move me to the Holiday Inn 2 doors down (same ownership too) and it was declined.
Cooling was satisfactory Monday night & very well-normal for the balance of my stay. Many guests were complaining-multiple floors high temperature problems.
Through the ICH Priority Club App I submitted request for assistance Sunday night & got a reply Monday that they had spoken with the manager (name omitted here but was provided) & she would contact me directly. Never happened. Charge for full bill & sweated 2 nights. I remain disappointed. Next time I'll avoid this property.

I have stayed in many, many hotels and many Crowne plazas and the service was fantastic here. From the front desk staff, the lifeguard,bar and restaurant staff, everyone was so helpful and polite. Second stay at this hotel in 10 years for a wedding. All newly renovated. The wedding staff service was so attentive. I was struggling with my key at 12.30 at night, with my purse and food I had, a a staff member stopped to see if I needed hep. Had a camera incident, dropped my camera in the toilet, and went to the restaurant, and immediately they took and put it in a bowl of rice, saran wrapped and gave me the bowl. Fabulous,I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding,meeting or just a leisurely stay. Shuttle was right there at airport, easy to find and goes every half hour back to the airport. They help you with your bags.Very clean and comfortable rooms.
