Good for an average place, needs to be renovated

During our stay nothing went wrong, but nothing was better than average. At some hotels the check-in staff are excited to be working there and happy to help, but here they just checked us in and didn't seem to want to be there -- but they weren't offensive in any way. The biggest issue with the hotel is how outdated everything is. I am sure they must be about to renovate, because they can't keep rooms looking so old. There was nothing exactly falling apart or broken, but it's clearly worn down. The gym and pool are shared with the community (it's setup like a regular gym people can buy memberships to). The restaurant is good and the staff there is so friendly. The location is also 10-15 minutes from downtown Nashua. There are some good restaurants near the hotel. We would not avoid this hotel next time we're in the area, but we would definitely look at our options and see what else is available.
