Fleet Week

May 05, 2015

Went during fleet week, so the sailors were abundant. Just made for a much more fun time on Bourbon St. As for the hotel. Awesome staff. Actually upgraded our room to a king suite. The Valet guys were nice as well. It was a great location because you could walk out the side door and be on Bourbon, yet hear none of the noise associated with it. Rooms were slightly dated, but the hotel is old (in a charming way). I would definitely stay here again, if I ever make it back to New Orleans.

We stayed 4 nights and it worked out great. The room was nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Location on Bourbon street and Canal was very convenient. We would stay there again.

Excellent room

April 30, 2015

The room was great. It was comfortable and the house keeping was very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay in New Orleans. It would have been easier if the historic hotel was connected on the second floor to get to the meeting rooms instead of going down to the lobby and then up to the meeting rooms on the second floor.

Great location!

April 30, 2015

Situated on canal and bourbon it is at the perfect location. It's not too crazy, like the hotels further down on bourbon but everything is within walking distance. Plus there's a Walgreens next door for any last minute items or even preparty alcohol or post party water!
The only downside is that our room smelled like cigarette smoke Ns the air conditioner was impossible to control. It was either 64 or 80. In fact, the cover fell off one night somehow and we put it back on when we got back to the hotel.
The towels are soft and plentiful. The beds and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. What more could you ask for?
