The beds were very comfortable - firm, but soft. Nice charging docks on bedstand. Located in Times Square with walking distance to Rockefeller Center. Great food in the restaurant (we had breakfast) - very, very good! Check-in was very quick.

We had a view of Times Square. Actually our room had two views which was awesome. The noise that we were told to expect did not affect us at all and the use of the room darkening curtains helped with the lights. We had an accident with chocolate milk and the cleaning staff were very helpful giving us more towels and cleaning supplies. The check in was awesome as our flight was early and they put us in our room right away. The bar staff was great late at night as we needed some milk. Our two negatives: the restaurant staff were very helpful but the food was terrible. We canceled our Thanksgiving dinner reservations and ate outside the hotel for the remainder of our stay. Our other SMALL issue was the replenishment of the coffee and tea. We stayed five days. The first day we used one coffee and one tea and then put the maker away to use the counter space. The following morning we used the remainder of the tea and again put the maker away. The tea was not replensihed.

We were there for Thanksgiving Week, as we have done occasionally for 25 years. The First night, we stayed at a nice clean hotel on the Lower East Side, just to let my kids see another side of Manhattan. Were we ever Happy to see the Crowne Plaza! And the property was as good as ever; Clean, Nice, Roomy, Attentive. We were staying Free, on Priority Club Points, but they treated us just as well as any place ever has. Great Location, Ambience and facilities. We'll be back, Again.

They charged me 579.50 dolars more without an extra service, in the lobby they told me that it was because NY taxes, wich is IMPOSSIBLE because is to much just for taxes.
My reservation were 2 rooms with 2 double beds and they gave me 1 room with only 1 double bed and 1 room with only 1 kingsize bed in a floor really noisy. Next to our room it was the elevator, the GYM and a boardroom. Since 6 o' clock the elevator and the GYM were extreamelly noisy, so as the laughing, screaming and talking form the people in the boardroom.
It was IMPOSSIBLE for us to sleep and to rest, my mom is an older person and she was really angry.
For us being in you Hotel was the worst thing in our hollidays.
The consierge girl didn't help me and she was really rude, I only wanted to know were to take the touribus, she coludn't help me and her way to be war rude and discourteous.
So I need my money back, because that extra charge isn't acceptable because the service that you gave to my family and I wasn't the correct one.

the hotel is right in the heart of times square. we had a concierge room and it was fantastic. the hotel staff was extremely helpful getting us show tickets and nbc studio tour. very pleasant!! would highly recommend!!!

I was very happy I chose Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan for my recent stay in New York. Of course the location is superb. The management and staff are wonderful. They are highly professional and want to make sure the hotel's guests maximize the enjoyment of their stay. I was also pleased my Priority Club status was recognized and appreciated, as well. My room was terrific--great amenities and great view.
I would particularly like to compliment and thank Victoria (Hotel Manager), Vanessa and Travon (Front Desk), and Eddie (Concierge Lounge) for their outstanding service and attention which made my visit to New York very special.

My room looked out over time square which was AMAZING!
My room was also really big and comfortable. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Would definatly stay there again when i come back to New York.

at our recent stay at the crowne plaza time squar in NYC our room had no air conditioning !!! The room was very hot and stuffy , therefor we did not get alot of sleep. The hotels remedy for our situation was to open the window, which only opened a crack, also letting in a tremendous amount of noise. Not a pleasent sleeping experience !!!

the shower was unbelievable bad, little water came out and very weak in power, which i cannot recognise it as a good hotel shower.
and the name of the room, times square view king size room, which we can almost not seeing times square.

This was our third visit to New York and to the Crown Plaza, - always a wonderful hotel staffed with terrific people. Rhoda at the front desk was particularly helpful, a great asset to the company.
The hotel has lovely beds, clean linen, nice sized rooms, a good sized flat screen tv, coffee for the morning, the only thing missing is a mini fridge.
We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, very nice, good tasting food. They run a pre- theater dinner for $30.00, salad, dinner and dessert, very nice indeed .
The hotel is situation very close to Duffy Square where the "red stair case" is, plus TKTS on the Square is there, very handy when you get into town around 4, you can run over and grab tickets for that nights performance of the show of your choice and you can usually get them from 40-50% off regular price. The hotel is located right in the hub of the action, all around a great experience, thank you Crown Plaza for another great time

Overall, was a nice hotel, clean and well maintained. Their restaurant was good for a quick lunch, and found the breakfast at the conceirge level to be worth the extra $$. Getting into our room at check-in was delayed, but the desk staff was responsive and offered us complimentary drinks (nice / professional touch). Lobby bar waitstaff was slow to wait on us in the lounge in the evening so we returned to the restaurant for drinks and desert. Not a 5 star, but a very good, comfortable 4 star. Convenient to walk to Radio City, American Girl Store, and Rockefeller center, and Times Square for those visiting NY. I would recommend to friends and also stay there again. Mattress was a little too soft, worn, but overall good.

Great location and stayed free on points so it all worked out. However, it took 4 phone calls and a lot of run around before we got our bags delivered to the room. The only staff with smiles were the maid and the door man. Of course if you visit the bar, be ready to pay for it. Even pricy for New York standards.
Room were clean and large though and i would stay here again.
Best of luck and enjoy New York!

It is the 4th hotel we have stayed at in NY and it was the best but the least expensive. The central location is excellent, the service is excellent, the food in the restaurant was good, the room was spacious and well appointed. Definitely recommend.

Everything was fine at this hotel until items were stolen from my luggage on the last day. Try to contact the hotel and they do not reply, even when requested to by customer relations. Does the Crowne Plaza group have no control over the individual hotels?

Our family has been taking advantage of the Broadway Crowne Plaza for decades - both for business and personal use.
We have even sampled the property, during the New Year's Eve mob scene - and enjoyed every moment - including being able to escape the masses and end-up in our room - only a few steps away.
We have seen many, changes at the Crowne over a long period - all are favorable and enhance the experience for the guest.
Given the quality and location of the property - when in the Big Apple - this will continue to be our first-choice property.

I stayed here on business recently and the location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It terms of value, it's a stretch but it is Times Sq. so to be expected. I only used the restaurant once, for breakfast, and it was over priced in my view.

We arrived at Crowne Plaza on Times Square as an end to our holiday torung around New Hampshire. It was a perfect end to a memorable holiday, on arrival we were greeted by a very friendly concierege who arranged for our luggage to be handled straight away. On check in my Gold status was welcomed and we were given an upgrade to the 45 or 46 floor (I cannot remember) and a corner room with fantastic views over the City. The staff were with one exception very friendly and helpful (I was reprimanded for leaving my key card in the room), nothing was too much trouble. As a couple we really enjoy our trips to America and always try to stay in Holiday Inn, the Crowne Plaza is a credit to the chain, it's management and the staff at this hotel in particular. Looking forward to our next visit. We are travelling to Australia for 3 weeks in December and hope that we have as enjoyable an experience.

This is a terrific location if you want to stay around Time Square and Broadway without having to use taxis or subways. The price is a bit expensive for the quality of the room but great staff and convenience was a major plus.

I'M NOT GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANY BODY. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH IHG HOTELS. THE FRONT DESK ASKED ME TO CARRY MY BAGS BY MY SELF TO MY ROOM!!! UN POLITE WHEN TALKING. I DID NOT GET ANY BENEFIT OF BEEING A PLATINUM MEMBER. I HAVE BOOKED A CONCEIRGE ROOM WITH VIEW, THEY GAVE ME THE WORST VIEW THEY HAVE. I ASKED TO EXCHANGE THE ROOM BUT THEY REFUSED. EVEN THE MANAGER DID NOT ACT AS WELL. MOST OF THE SERVICES YOU HAVE TO PAY. NOTHING FREE FOR PRIORITY MEMBERS. BAD STAY.

The entire experience was amazing from the minute we checked into the hotel. This was our first trip to NYC and we asked for a room with a view. We were upgraded to a corner room with a view of Time Square at no extra cost!! It was so beautiful. The hotel is right in the middle of anything and everything you want to do. We were able to walk to our plays and many wonderful eating establishments. It is also within walking distance of 5th Avenue!!
The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable.
We would definitely stay at Crowne Plaza again!

My partner and I have stayed at this facility many times, and friends to whom I have recommended this property have stayed here. However, had this been our first time here, it would have been our last. I am Platinum Priority and have been for several years, and granted we usually use points to stay here, and in that past have been given excellent service.
This was the weekend after Sandy devastated much of Manhattan and surrounding area, but that does not explain the response we got from the hotel. This was the worst room we have ever stayed in at this location. We were put in a room in which the floor sloped to the degree that when the dresser doors were opened, the safe door and coffee tray opened out into the room. My partner took a shower in totally cold water. I called maintenance, Otis came up and let the water run for over five minutes until finally there was hot water. His behavior was less than pleasant and he left black shoe scuffs all over the bathroom floor. We vacated our room by 8:30 the next morning, came back at mid afternoon. The room had not been cleaned. I complained to the Priority desk and rather than having my concern addressed, the agent there argued with me about when we checked in. We left for the evening at 5:30 p.m., and gratefully, the room had been serviced when we returned.
When we checked out, the lady at the desk could not have been nicer. She was genuinely concerned re: our expereince. However, not much she could do as we were leaving. She did offer to comp breakfast, but we had already eaten.
In short, if this had been our first visit to the Crowne Plaza - Times Square, it would have been our last. And I will shop other facilites in midtown before I book here again.
I doubt this will get much press.
