Unfortunately, this hotel is extremely noisy. My room was on the 11th floor and all I heard all night long was the noise from the turnpike. The only thing that drowned out that noise was the airconditioner when it kicked on! The bathtub had some strange gritty substance, which also really bothered me. For the price of the room and the fact that you charge your guests to park in the garage, it was not a good value.

Hotel is right on the highway, and it feels. Room had massive traffic noise day and night. I asked to change rooms and the second one was better although still somewhat noisy. Wifi is free but had very bad signal in the room and could barely work. Guesr services sent engineering but were unable to fix it and i think its bad network coverage design. Rooms were relatively expensive. Overall i would not come back.

Motel is great, staff and service was wonderful... BUT - I thought it was AWFUL that I was charged for parking after booking a stay there for 4 nights!! SERIOUSLY? I spent over $800 and you still have to charge me for parking? I was told the motel didn't own the parking garage, but I would think what money is made by the motel would more than cover the cost of parking. On top of that, I only parked in the garage 2 nights, but my bill put under my door on the morning we were checking out - I was charged for 3 nights of parking. Of course the front desk corrected that, but do other guests get over charged?

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by kirusia super clean rooms and delicious breakfast, that's all.
I have to say,the room was super clean that i walked bare feet. It smelled sooo good in the room and towels were soft and fresh. Front desk staff wasn't what i expected. I wasn't expecting a red carpet but a smile would do. The breakfast downstairs at Martha's was delicious. Didn't have a chance to see the swimming pool. If you have issues about anything, talk to hotel manager Bridget, she is very nice! For the price that we paid,it's not worth it. Add a little extra and find a hotel downtown of Boston.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Heva Only if you are prepared for the noise
Hotel is very nice and great staff too. Highway noise is huge, but not louder than the very noisy air conditioning. If you can sleep through that, you'll be fine. Very convenient for the Boston suburbs, getting into town and visiting the outskirts. And with reasonable parking as well.

This property far exceeded my expectations. Easy parking, gorgeous room, and wonderful amenities all for a great price. Would definitely stay again as opposed to in the city!

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it certainly is better than it used to be under other management. The staff was polite and efficient. However, you can't get away from the fact that it is located on a highway with traffic noise throughout the night. I have no specific complaints, but the hotel has somewhat of a seedy feel to it, but I know I will stay there again because of the location, although I wish could have gotten into the Newton Marriott for my college reunion even though I would have paid more there.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LGBC Convenient and reasonable
Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located above the Mass Pike in Newton so it was close to where we were going. The staff was very nice although we requested adjoining rooms in advance but we we not given that option upon arrival. Two things I would like to mention, there are no towel racks in the bathroom so there is no place to hang a towel to dry and limited counterspace. Also, we found goldfish on the floor just under the bedspread which was then obvious the cleaning crew did not vacuum.
