Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Managment and Staff service and attitude ensured a wonderful stay! Alma, a manager, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was fantastic! My room, the partner indoor pool, restaurant and all staff were excellent. While I have stayed in just as nice accommodations, Alma and all staff that I encountered had very bright and positive attitudes that ensured a wonderful stay. In particular, Alma as manager didn't hesitate to go above and beyond in terms of service - so it is not surprising that her great attitude rubs off. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by PROM NIGHT!!! SLEEPLESS NIGHT!!! Up until this night this was our favorite place to stay. It was prom night and there were highschool kids there being loud, boystrous, and in and out of their room roaming the halls till 3 AM in the morning! We couldn't sleep with all the racket going on in the halls, doors slamming constantly, kids talking, screaming and laughing loudly. They had no respect for the other occupants on the floor who were trying to sleep. Security tried to get them to be quiet but shortly after security left they were at it again. I finally gave up calling for security after the 3rd time. I hope next year they make sure they know what dates are prom nights for the local schools and figure out a way to screen the reservations for prom kids and put them all on the same floor. Keep them far away from the regular members who stay on a weekly basis. They should also have more security on hand for that day to help keep them quiet. The staff did their best but couldn't stop the teenagers from disturbing the other guests in the hotel. May 3, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by So so . . . Nice lobby. Very nice breakfast. Room was underwhelming. Bathroom was small and below average. Sleep Number beds. One of the queen bed's frame was broken. The other wouldn't hold a consistent "sleep number" pressure. It was late when we got back to the hotel. We had to strip the mattress off the broken frame and put everything on the floor. To the staff's credit, they did offer us another room, but we declined because of the late hour (and we had already unpacked everything). April 13, 2013

The people are experienced professionals; the food is excellent whether ordered from the bar menu, dining room or room service; and the entire staff goes out of its way to ensure comfort. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed Rooms were attractive and bed very comfortable. Cleaning service average they didnt run the vacum and check your cups before you drink out of them. The bar staff were great the restaurant staff were good but they didnt always understand our orders and came up with the wrong items. There isnt alot there at the facility could use an update with a pool and bigger workout room that is better ventilated. March 21, 2013

She is always very courteous, friendly and superbly efficient in getting things done. The hotel has a good feel to it, the bar is a good, social place in the evenings. The food remains great (although they could do with some menu rotation). The rooms are comfortable and clean and a good night's sleep is normal. Only thing is that the hotel cost has been creeping up in the last year or so. March 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not the worst place to be stuck during Snowpocalypse '13 Comfortable room, slightly dated bathroom and furnishings. The hotel seemed very busy, but the staff seemed to effectively anticipate some of those peaks and took steps to streamline or staffed up when necessary. I'm not from a snowy part of the country, so I appreciated that the parking lot, outside walkways and surrounding streets were well-maintained despite the 12" of snow that fell over a day. The bar was fun and packed - that may have been as a result of the weather - but people were in good cheer. This property seems to get a lot of longer stay guests on corporate business, so groups of folks seemed to be very familiar and rowdy, but not so much to make anything uncomfortable. Enjoyed the food and my overall stay. The only frustration was around some spotty Internet access in the rooms (a real issue if a lot of your clientele are on business), however the building IT wizards were able to graciously help out and get it back up and running. Would certainly stay at this property again if business takes me here again! March 13, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpectedly blah I have been to Crowne Plaza's in the past and always enjoyed them. This may have just been an off location on an off week. The internet was down a lot and when it was up, it was very patchy. Cell signal was almost completely blocked within the building. Staff got lots of crossed information making for an annoying time dealing with them. March 11, 2013

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of space. Oh, I don't want to forget to mention the food at the restaurant (The Willow) was fabulous! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would go back We were on a road trip and made this a groupon stop. The price was very well worth the stay. We were greeted by very personable employees who even remembered my name from a question I had called them on earlier in the morning. The hotel was very clean. My room was larger than I expected. Since I paid less on a groupon I assumed I would get treated differently. I did not. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Business, travelers, families, etc. Great Bar, great restaurant and the staff was wonderful. Try it and see for yourself !! January 26, 2013

Bar staff could not keep up with customers so they could have used another person behind that bar. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crowne Plaza Chicago Suburbs A delightful stay at the Crowne Plaza. Have heart if you have had some unsatisfactory Crowne Plaza visits. I promise, if you're comfortable with the location, you will enjoy your time here. Seriously, the dinner we had at the in house restaurant was one of the best I've had in ages, and I eat out a LOT. Desk staff was unbelievably accommodating and the rooms were spotless clean. A little microwave and mini fridge for those of you who crave specific treats. All in all, it was a very good trip. And, you save money on parking and internet. Pay per view movies are a bit pricey ($17.95). Dial a number comfort beds, fresh COTTON blankets, which I love, rather than those hideous rubber based things that are in even the best hotels now, and feather pillows (per request, which I always request!) . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to stay: Very helpful staff I had the pleasure of staying at this location for business purposes for 6 weeks of a 2 month period. The staff was very professional and accomodating in all areas. The premises was well maintained and clean at all times. They have a "Quiet Zone" which is a floor that I appreciated being on where it was silent at all times. The bed on the 7th floor was one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Every staff member I came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. The shuttle service they have is a wonderful service that came in useful on many, many occasions. The drivers are knowledgable of the area and are always available. I would recommend this hotel and would be comfortable staying in this hotel again. October 24, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by USS Klondike Ships Reunion This is one of, if not the best facilities we have ever had for our reunions. We had 65-66 people in attendance, and stayed here for 5 days. The rooms were spotless, as were the hallways and lobby areas. We had the use of a hospitality room that was well tended to, The wait staff that helped in the hospitality room were friendly and efficient. The front desk people were very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. We had the buffet breakfast everyday, and the food was excellent. We had 2 other food events while we were there and both were great. Our farewell banquet on the last day was one of the best we have had anywhere. The food selection for the banquet was sirloin of beef, chicken cordon bleu, tilapia and portabellas. All of these were prepared to perfection. The serving size was quite large and the chocolate cake we had for dessert was over the top good. All in all, this was one of the best facilities we have ever stayed at for our Navy ships reunion. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible service attitude + very mediocure accomodations, food. The service is lacking from the front desk all the way to the cleaning crew who are not very considerate of keeping room to customer's desires rather than returning everything to the check in template each and every night. Restaurant and bar staff are not very service minded. The rooms on 6th and 7th floor have horrible beds. Most of the sleep number remotes on the other floors don't work. The local shuttle is a nice courtesy. I think the Crown Plaza's intent for service and accomodations is on the mark, just not well executed by the staff at this particular business unit. This facility, as well, needs an overhaul but the real bottom line is the attitude of the staff, who do not see that customers do have options and work to retain clients. The same breakfast offering day after day is boring after day 5 so my 6 week stay has been painful. I do not plan to return after my current reservation. Little if any recognition of priority club members. July 25, 2012
