Unison Young Members Conference Visit

After leaving the tram go left to find the hotel, the sign did not stick out to me and I was wandering around for a while trying to find it.
Overall my experience was pleasant, however the room I stayed in had rust in the shower and the toilet handle was coming away from the wall, this I complained about.
Room service was Good on my first night I had soup and the fruit plate and it was perfect, the day after I tried a burger, I wish I hadn't it was disgusting, the burger was swimming in meat juices and freezing cold absolute disgrace.
Also this was my first conference I took part in the things I felt comfortable enough to be involved with and not in the others which is my prerogative. I was disturbed (the manager actually unlocked the door of my room) inquiring whether everything was ok, after I confirmed she left, I felt as though as I was being monitored during my stay and did not appreciate it.
I will be making a formal complaint as my privacy was invaded intentionally and that burger was truly gross.
The other staff were fab especially the Housekeeper she was both helpful and friendly.

I stay frequently at this hotel for business trips. I have always received a warm welcome. The food is well prepared, beds are comfortable, only downside is the AirCon being a little loud.

I was sadly ill during my last stay (nothing to do with the hotel) but the care and understanding of the staff I dealt with made being away from home and ill bearable
