Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stayed here two nights for my wedding night. Stayed in a suite with Jacuzzi tub. it was nice, roomy, clean and had a comfy king sized bed. Nice pool and hot tub. Hotel was clean. The only think I will say is the hotel like corridor needs an update, its just very dark, needs a brighter paint color. But it was a great clean hotel. That's all that matters. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Service My room had a drain issue in the shower allowing the tub fill up over my ankles with luke warm water. In addition the shower head was broken and would not adjust water speed. I had no remote for the TV which took 2 hours to resolve. I asked for extra towels which took nearly 7 hours to accommodate my request. The desk staff tried but failed to address things to my satisfaction and never offered me anything for my families negative experience. May 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NICE HOTEL WE WERE IN TOWN FOR A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY. WISH THE BAR HAD STAYED OPEN ON FRIDAY NIGHT . WE ALL WANTED MORE DRINKS. IT IS A VERY NICE HOTEL. JUST WISH WE HAD MORE TIME TO RELAX. WOULD HAVE LOVED TO ENJOY THE POOL AND HOT TUB. IF WE ARE EVER IN NOVI AGAIN WE WILL DEF USE THIS HOTEL. May 10, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed I have always respected check in times for hotels and do not arrive before. As my reservation stated check in is at 3:00. I arrived at 3:15, waited in line for 11/2 hours. I was with a group, but this should not matter when a hotel is properly managed. I have stayed at others and this has not been a problem. When I was waited on the person was very nice, I do not blame her for the mismanagement. After waiting in line I was not ready to hear that there were no rooms ready. I was told there would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. So I stood by the desk and waited. After 45 minutes, I asked how much longer? 10 minutes later.....finally a room!! The hotel room was in need of updating, very "worn" looking. No, I would not recommend this hotel. March 29, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Welcome to 1980 I continue to be disappointed by this location. I have stayed there during my Michigan trips for the past four years. I have brought colleagues, as well as our external auditors, all to their disappointment and my dismay. The location is convenient, but the facility is so outdated I can no longer refer or stay at this hotel. I originally came when it was being renovated was told the whole building was getting a makeover. I'm still waiting. I took pictures at this visit to prove my point. This hotel is in no fathomable way anywhere near the Crown Plaza level that I expect! It is a decent franchised Holiday Inn from the mid 90's at best. The elevator buttons, for example, are just tiled over so you have to stick your finger in a hole to push the up/down button. Once inside, the numbers are dirty and rotated at odd angles, bathroom fixtures are outdated and even the nice marble sink top has an odd cut to allow for the 1970's heat lamp and outlet! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor housekeeping and cold showers Stayed for 3 nights in March, 2013. Registered for 3 guests, but had to call once for towels because housekeeping didn't leave enough. Twice used the in-room coffee maker, and it wasn't cleaned out either time. Last day of stay didn't even have coffee left to make the next morning. Room was cleaned one day, but one of the beds wasn't made up. Half the showers we took were cold or lukeroom due to insufficient hot water supply. One other odd note - although there is a sign in the bathroom asking to re-use towels, there's no where to hang up hand towels or wash cloths - only option was to use the shower rod. I complained to the front desk about the poor housekeeping and cold water and was given one night off my bill. The person at the front desk was very polite and offered his apologies that our family did not enjoy our stay. March 10, 2013
