We live in the south west and visit Perth intermittently and we are very glad to have found accommodation that is safe and very comfortable. The view and central location is the icing on the cake and the staff are very polite and attentive. Thank you Crowne Plaza Perth.

we really enjoyed our recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Perth stayed in the suite had magnificent views of the swan river and south perth foreshore the room was spacious only small issue was shower showed signs of mould which for the price of the room I would have expected this to be cleaner. We ate at the restaurant and the meals were great with exceptional service from the manager. It was a shame that the ambassador gifts are not provided at the Crowne as Perth no longer has an IHG.

As the title states, the Hotel is old and service is lacking. Rooms are average and linen has a damp feel & 'smell' to it. For the rate they are charging, there is certainly better alternative out there.
The worst was the internet charge.. $25 for a 24hr/1GB connection for whichever comes first and data calculation (round-off to the nearest MB) faster than a taxi meter..

DIRTY FRIDGES, BLOOD STAINED bed covers, which were replaced with blood stained bedcovers, dirty stained floors in roon, carpet stined wall stains, double charging credit card under crown plaza transaction an another with the holding company name which still has not be refunded 1 week after staying there service of food very average

I stay at crown plaza many times during the year and our last visit was very disappointing. Our room was near the lifts and receptionist said there were no other rooms available, which was untrue. We are a valid customer and recommend hotel to other people all the time. I think it would of been nice if your staff were a bit more obliging.

I've been visiting Perth every month for over four years, and this has been one of my favourite places to stay. Sadly, except for weekends, it has priced itself out of my accommodation budget. However with my partner joining me for the weekend, we returned to the Crowne Plaza for a couple of nights, but came away just a little disappointed. Perhaps it's getting a bit old and tired? The genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff was no longer there. And Sunday morning breakfast left a lot to be desired in terms of service: there seemed to be too few staff for the number of guests. I don't expect I'll be back there in a hurry.

The staff are the real stars of this hotel. They were attentive, interested in us and are a credit to the hotel. Whilst the hotel isn't exactly centrally based it has a wonderful view over the river and quiet environment. Handy for the WACCA too!
I would thoroughly recommend it and would willingly stay there again

We had a nice relaxing stay at the Crowne Plaza Perth on a very busy Saturday night. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting with a forgotten toothbrush and a special paper. The recently refurbished rooms looked fresh and inviting. The valet parking was seamless and the staff were again helpful and friendly.
Despite a Festival of Perth event right on the doorstep it was quiet and it is always wonderful waking up to that view of the river. So worthwhile paying the extra for a River Room.
Breakfast is usually very good at this hotel and again it did not disappoint. I especially liked the new arrangements for tea and coffee where you could make your own. Quality of the fresh fruit was great and the cooked breakfast was very tasty and kept topped up so that there was always a good selection. The eggs benedict were very good. This hotel is very convenient for us and we love the location. We will be visiting again. Good value on the weekends.

My daughter and I stay at the crowne plaza every Australia Day and we always enjoy the room the service and people, they are always friendly, we had breakfast included this year which was delicious and great range to choose from. We didn't have to get up too early as plenty of food still available when we arrived. Will be back again hopefully soon but definitely again in 2014.

Majority of my trips to Perth are for Business, I have stayed in nearly all of the CBD hotels but found staying a little further out helped me not think of work 1 block away! The staff are amazing always having my room ready no matter if its 8am in the morning flying in from the east coast. Restaurant team are well trained on my specific dietary requirements so no need for the menu! Overall amazing hotel and have recommended as a marker hotel for the group.

We stayed here early Jan 2013 staying in a Queen Room with Balcony view. The bed was comfortable and the room meet all our needs and couldn't believe there was a bath to soak in as I thought with the beautiful view we may have had to for go the bath - not so. Having a balcony giving us a beautiful view of the Swan River with Langley Park in the foreground was the perfect setting for a relaxing drink while taking in a wonderful Perth sunset. The food was great having dined for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service very helpful and welcoming. Concierge met the mark also taking the time to chat to us in the foyer and advising us the hotel could provide complimentary bikes saving us money as we had intended to hire - THANK YOU. Fantastic stay we will be back soon.

Beautiful views of the Swan river & easy access to riverside walkways, can open windows & doors for afternoon breeze. Quiet location. Frequent Bus service to the city centre & shopping malls a 5 minute walk away. Or it is 20 minute walk to the main shopping malls from the hotel. On site restaurant serves lovely local Western Australian food, although restaurant customer service is lacking a little

Perth went though a heat wave on our visit, the room was so hot and the air conditioner could not cope, we requested a fan or something to help cool down the room and we were told some one would bring up a fan for us but this did not happen.
We did visit the restaurant for only one meal, we were offered a table by the front window which was nice, we were asked if we wanted water to which we agreed and it took 25 minutes for us to receive the water which we had to request again. It then took a total of 30 minutes for us to be asked if we were ready to order. We never did visited the restaurant again thoughout our stay

This was our 5th stay at the Crowne Plaza and we have enjoyed all of our stays.
Unfortunately when we returned home and checked our Amex account we found that we have been double charged?
We have been assured that we have only been charged once however we have a double debit on our account???
"The reason given for this charge is that it was a prepayment on the booking but it is only charged this way on a first stay and should not have been initiated in this instance".
I'm a Gold Points member having stayed with the IHG Group on many occasions and have never been double charged and this matter is still not resolved - we booked out on Sunday 30th December. "I am not impressed!!!!".
On my second approach to your Hotel re this matter; Senna has promised to send a Fax to our Bank [NAB] to try to have this overcharge removed.

We stayed for one night. Could not fault the service or rooms. Dinner in Gusty's was nice but the portions were small for the amount that was charged. Still felt hungry after mains. Definately would stay again.

I live in suburban Perth and had a few Christmas activites to attend in Perth over a weekend and decided to take advantage of my priority privalege status.
The hotel is in a great loaction and taxi's call in to the property all the time so time was not spent waiting for one, although the concierge offer to place the call.
The food on offer in the restuarant is superb. local produce and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and one even remembered a conversation from the night before and asked me about it in the morning!
The staff were attentive and provided exceptional service.
I would like to see hotels still cater for smokers though because we are paying guests and should not be discriminated against.

Although your hotel is lovely we were held up at check in because the efpos was not working, so after 45 mins we had to walk 2 blocks to a ATM and draw the money out to pay for our room. We could only draw the money out in $200.00 lots so we were charged every time we used the machine. I rang ahead to explain that our Credit Card was out of use as we were scamed and was asured it would not de a problem so by the time we got to our room we had to rush to get ready for the function we were attending that evening, instead of relaxing before we had to get ready. We don't get away for a weekend very often as we have 5 children so it was a dissapointment that we had to wait so long for our room.

Whilst this hotel is not right in the hub of the city its only $10 in a taxi or there is a free bus just 1 block away. Has a great pool which gets the sun all day long and the rooms are fairly comfortable.

The views from our balcony and the dining experience at Gusti restaurant were a highlight.
The room was comfortable if a bit dated and didn't quite appreciate the shower screen door swinging over the toilet?
On the whole great value for money and a lovely stay.

Have been staying at Crowne Plaza Perth for many years, always had fantastic service from management and staff. Our last stay on 16/11/12 was made extra special as it was my husbands b/day. Will keep coming to Crowne Plaza for many more years to come. Thank you to everyone for all of stays which have been very very pleasant. Merry Christmas and we will see you all in the new year. P.S. Everything always lovely and clean and beds very cosy.

As a frequent guest, my room was ready too my request, checkin took less than two minutes. Staff always friendly and professional. Very clean. Lovely pool on hot day - although no shade. Service excellent. Close to WACA, river, easy walk to free bus service into city for shopping.

Love this hotel the staff are very friendly the rooms as comfortable. Only downfall was the cost of the meals at Gusti. very pricey and overated have eaten elsewhere and received more for the money. Other than that no complaints we stay here all the time and recommend to friends when we go into Perth.
