As my wife and I pulled up to the hotel we thought what a nice looking place. That was the very last positive thought we had during our stay. I asked the front desk clerk for one of the best rooms they had in the hotel. It was the first vacation my wife and I have had in over four years. As we entered the elevator I noticed how beat up and stained the inside was. No big deal. The hallway leading to our room had dishes from room service outside in the hallway which again didn't strike me as odd as maybe it was from lunch. Those same dishes stayed in the hallway until the following night. Hotel was nearly empty mind you. The hallway looked like it hadn't had any updates in several years. Outside of our room was the refrigerator that belonged in our room. The room itself was nothing special and in fact it was rather plain. It had a peculiar smell. There were the normal stains and dents. Not at all the nice room I had envisioned from what the clerk had told me. I had to call and ask for a refrigerator to be put in our room. Yes you guessed it. The very same broken one that was in the hallway was put back in our room. I have held my hotel points fro a long time so that my wife and I could have a nice enjoyable stay. What a huge let down this property turned out to be. Staff didn't really seemed concerned with any of these issues. As I said the hotel was empty and since I was using points their attitude seemed to be as if they were saying "so what?"
I have family in the area but will find another place to stay next time we go to visit them. As a Platinum Member with your program and others I was very disappointed with the property and the staff who were working during my stay. I travel internationally frequently for work and stay at various hotels. This one will stick out in my memory as one of the worst.

Was able to take classesthatineed for RED CROSS. Very comfortable surroundings. . Was able to meet other people from other areas & get more input on different trainings the Red Cross has to offer.

The shower faucet in my room (347) did not function well at all and definitely needs to be replaced, shower curtain should be wider to avoid water spilling out, (housekeeping should have been aware of these issues and report them) and most of the conference rooms our workshops were in were like a refrigerator, other than that, it was a nice hotel and a pleasant stay.

I booked this place because it was the only one with an indoor pool, my wife and I were celebrating our 14th year of marriage . I wanted to enjoy the water without the Az heat, we had a great time. The service was very good, the food amazing, and the staff even better. The indoor pool was nice and cool, the outdoor pool was just as good at night. Our room had a patio right next to the outdoor pool, we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and drinks at night on the patio. All and all we had a wonderful time, and plan to go back just for the night now and again.

This hotel is very clean. The furniture is current and in excellent shape. The bed and all the extra pillows are comfy. I stayed here for a week. My room was cleaned everyday; even with the cute touches of folding the tissue paper and folding the towels a certain way. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. I was on the inside section where I had a patio and could see the inside pool. Hearing the waterfall of the evening was relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone regardless of if you are staying for a short or extended time. Oh, and the lounge was great. The atmosphere, food and drink were all excellent. And the shuttle service was an added bonus. :-)

Ambiance was nice, although I think the indoor pool made the whole hotel full of humidity. Room was nice but the drain in the shower didn't work and there were toe nail clippings in the floor. I did like that once I was settled in my room the front desk called to make sure all was in order...too bad I didn't know about the shower or nail clipping at that time. Hotel was nice.

Customer service staff was very polite and courteous and friendly. Helped me find a Chinese take out place, they even had a copy of the menu. The room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. It was just across the highway from the Metro Mall, Barnes & Noble, Red Lobster, Chili's, etc. Next time I need a hotel in Phoenix, I'll be staying here!

I booked two rooms and asked the staff for a mini fridge and other items and they had it waiting in my room upon arrival. They also were attentive to concerns I had and made everything right. Thank you for an excellent weekend.

No matter what major brand hotel you stay at, the room is generic and expected to be appointed, comfortable, modern and clean (Crowne Plaza delivered on all). What you do not expect is to be given five star treatment using loyalty points from year round business travel.
Took the family on a weekend excursion using points and was wowed by the attention we were given by entire staff. The service was simply exceptional and directed towards our every need, from the front desk to the food service, we were treated as if we were VIP's at this hotel.
As a Quality Manager I see the value hitting the intended target, the customer!

This hotel was given over to a group of unsupervised young people the entire duration of our stay. Our complaints to front desk staff and management fell on deaf ears, while we were being run past during a live game of "tag" that took over the entire property on every floor. They yelled and threw landscaping stones and used inappropriate language. They ran through the pool area chasing each other - it was so dangerous. The management completely blew us off saying that there had been zero complaints even though WE had complained! He also stated that he'd personally told groups of them to settle down twice but he couldn't and wouldn't do anything about the offensive behavior because "they were on vacation too". Our stay was a business trip with a few extra days to relax and enjoy our family and it was completely ruined. We were made to feel less important than the other guests that were causing trouble. This was my favorite hotel and I'm a rewards member but the management staff was so unresponsive, uncaring and disrespectful that we'll never be back.

Another quality stay. Unfortunately I was sick and could not enjoy pool or gym. Good location and good price. Neighbors were a little loud, but a good stay regardless. I do enjoy this crown plaza, the indoor and outdoor pools and the convenient location.

This establishment is a wonderful oasis in a busy city. As a Platinum member, my room was upgraded to an Executive Suite. I had a wonderful time in this hotel and the indoor pool was a huge plus. I will for sure to visit this wonderful establishment again.

We recently spent 2 spells of 5 days each at the Hotel.
Some really friendly and efficient staff helped make it an enjoyable experience -especially Venetia (correct spelling?) at the front desk, Joshten and also Maria in the Breakfast Room.

I have stayed in several Crowne Plaza properties around the country for various conferences, and this one was without a doubt the best staff I've ever experienced. Most helpful and courteous, going out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed.

Over all I have no complaints. The only issue was when we ordered lunch about an hour before our conference was to start, we never received our order. As we were leaving the area we were told it was ready. I let the server know we had to go and then was told it could be put in a to go box. That would have been fine but we also did not have time to eat it.
I know things like this happen as it was very busy. I just thought I should pass it on.
This was not the servers problem, the order just probably got pushed aside for what ever reason.
I also would like to say what a gentleman Josh was. We used the shuttle several times and he is such a pleasant young man. We let him make the decision for us one night as to where to eat and the choice was an excellent one. You have a jewel in Josh. I hope you let him know his service, kindness and patience was very much appreciated.

Loved the room, bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Not so crazy about the location of the restrooms on the ground floor. It would have been helpful to have more than one nearer the lobby.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The public areas are a little bare, it looks like it may be in mid remodel. It needs plants and items in the hallways. I will stay there again, Restaurants and shopping are very close and it is just off I-17. The bed was very comfortable.

When I checked in this Hotel on March 15th I was not sure I was staying another night or not. I later decided that I was staying so I went on line and made an additional reservation. The next morning I called down to the front desk and ask since I was staying another night could I just stay in the same room and could they send someone up to unstop the toilet.
The person I talk to said I would have to move to another room but it wasn't ready. Then they found another room that was ready but it was farther away. I told my wife to go down and see what she could figure out since the room was in her name.
When she came back it was decided that we could stay in the same room and a maintenance man came with her to unstop the toilet.
The first night there was noise from the outside pool but it stop at 10 PM.
The place was clean and the free parking was close to front door.

We went for the weekend with the kids, it's close to everything the staff was very nice, our room was great, the kids just loved the two pool. Were a little leary with the previous bad reviews but we saw none of those things folks were complaining about.

This was a beautiful facility with two pools and two hot tubs (one indoor and one outdoor). Noise did transfer from room to room but it wasn't bad in my room. I had a small problem when I left for a meeting intending to come back to pack up, and the maid began cleaning the room although I was checking out and hadn't checked out yet (it was before check-out time). However the manager handled it so well! I haven't received this kind of concern and consideration since staying at the Hotel Bora Bora (one of the top 3 destinations in the world at the time). This kind of customer service is almost unheard of in our current times. I congratulate the manager and Crowne Plaza for putting customer service at the top and making every attempt to "make things right".

Check-in took 20 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon.
Room was clean, but faced the freeway so a tad bit noisy.
Pool was enjoyable.

It seems that this is a family owned/operated hotel. The standards that i am accustomed are missing entirely. Everything from room keys not properly programmed, twice...to incorrect food service orders. But what irritated me mostly was when I tried to call room service (it took me 45 minutes of trying a minimum of 20 times) all I got was voice mail. I finally got through, only to have the wrong meal delivered. When I tried to call back (5 times over 15 minutes, again to voice mail), I tried calling the front desk to ask them if they could help me place and order (clearly explaining the voice mail thing), and all the front desk clerk did was send me directly to the voice mail again. When I went down to the front desk, I got the "I don't speak very good English" thing.
My room service tray sat in front of my room for two days.
It just seems that they are severely short staffed and don't have a clue about customer service. Smiling and nodding doesn't cut it.

This stay served as it was supposed to, I needed a weekend away, and the hotel was very quiet, very clean and the bed was very comfy. The staff for the most part was very nice and helpful, I did stand around with very heavy bags for awhile while the man who worked there stood by and didn't offer to help, but the room service staff was VERY friendly, very quick, and the food was amazing and a good amount for a good price. Parking is close and free, the hotel is pretty nice other than the elevator...its a little out dated and slow. The one thing is, the room was advertised with a microwave and fridge in the club room, but when i arrived neither was there, I was just there for a weekend, so I didn;t bother to call up and ask for it to be brought in. I had a nice stay :)
