Noise Out in Hallways


March 05, 2015


There was a large group of high school age kids in the hotel. They were up past 11:00pm, running in the halls and talking loudly. They banged on walls and even tried to get into our room by trying the door. This was not pleasant.

Also, there were no "nightlights" in the bathroom. We had small children with us and had to leave a bright light on.

Also there were few additional electrical outlets visible in the room for curling irons, shavers etc. while someone else was in the bathroom.

Other than that it was ok.

I had some issues from your front desk.

I was comfortable, however, I experienced
A little rudeness ftom front desk clerk.

For instance, a female operator said
You Are Welcone wi
ithout me saying Thank you. That id not professional.
She is an employee and I am paying for the hotel stau.

A desk clerk was hesitant on giving me new key w e hen I
Extended my stay which
Is abnormal for crown plaza stays.

I was asked to return my old key
s but I wanted it as a
Souvenir as always. A clerk said those keys are not cheap.

I was denied giving me a bottle of water even with membership w

After complaning, I got compensated a free drink and an apology
And I extended my stay.

I hear
lots of banging noise from prople above me in tge morning s nd around 11pm.

After all I am
comfortable now. Front desjs is ok now. Hopefully. I am,hete

Not a Crowne Plaza, more of a Holiday Inn

No concierge lounge, so no appetizer and breakfast for those who are frequent enough qualifiers. The HVAC system was really noisy (squealed like a worn bearing in the fan). Was hoping to catch the hockey game on NBC Sports, which is on the channel listing, but no signal. Ice machine was down on my floor, and the floor above.

Dear errol1; We appreciate your candid feedback on your recent visit. I have spoken with our director of engineering regarding the items you have noted. We have fixed the HVAC unit in your room since you checked out. The ice machines are awaiting parts to repair them and we hope to have them operating again in the near future. The issue with the NBC Sports Channel was due to a problem with Comcast. A piece of their digital cable equipment was malfunctioning. They have identified the problem and it is now back up and running, and we do have the NBC Sports Channel. We are truly sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza with our church when we were in the area for a tournament. Very nice hotel.
