Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best value in the Berkshires Rooms clean, service great, food and lounge excellent. Great location to enjoy the Berkshires and the small shops in Pittsfield. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by freindly staff Upon checking in, we were greeted by a very amiable and efficient staff at the front desk. There were no problems with my reservation, and our room was ready to move into. The room was clean and well set up. September 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 comfortable stay We were in town for a wedding. The crown was okay for the price. We weren't there for more than 20 hours, so we did not use any of the conveniences within the hotel. September 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Hotel has great service everyone is wonderful and caring, the rooms could use some updating but I do recommend this hotel. September 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall a good experience Very good staff, one of your security staff gave me tea bags out of his own stash when the front desk didn't have any tea bags. Breakfast was excellent, both in quality and breadth. Only issue was the 7th floor had a strange odor in the corridor (was not detectable in the room however). September 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Un-Berkshire Choice for the Berkshires We decided to break this year's trip to Ogunquit Maine in the Berkshires, to visit two great museums: the Norman Rockwell, always a pleasure, and the Clark Institute in Williamstown, just fully re-opened after a major renovation and expansion. We needed a place with a pool and all of the usual suspects were full or only offering very expensive rooms. But the Pittsfield Crowne Plaza had room and while it's anything but the stereotype of the charming B&B or country inn, it proved to be a great choice: a central location, between Williamstown and the Lenox/Stockbridge area; a pleasant room; and a pretty impressive breakfast buffet (included in our room package). Staff were pleasant, friendly, and, and helpful. While we did not spend any time exploring Pittsfield, it seemed a lot brighter and attractive than I expected (i.e., a despondent old mill town). One mild complaint: paying extra for parking seems a bit cheesy but on the other hand I suppose that parking garage was not built by volunteers. September 8, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Meets most needs/comforts Like an aging person this hotel has it's wrinkles but they have taken great effort to make the best of their features. The lobby is lovely, the rooms have new carpet, tv's, & rugs, and the flower/plants add a lot to the overall ambiance of the hotel. The pool is just large enough for comfort and heated to a very warm temperature, it is kept very clean and the accompanying roof deck is so enjoyable with beautiful flowers all around the edges. We spent a lot of our time out there with drinks enjoying the views/weather. As I mentioned it is not without it's "wrinkles". The roof deck desperately needs to be reconcreted and the rooms are dark. While the Tavern served a great lunch the restaurant put out a breakfast buffet that was not hot enough for all of our liking, although the food was decent though. The staff was accomodating, although when I let my waitress know that the breakfast was not enjoyable because it was cold - she was apologetic and took 2 of our 4 meal charges back and was literally chased by her supervisor (?0 to the kitchen to question the take back of charges, lol. Very unprofessional in front of guests. Overall I would come here again. September 4, 2014
