The room was pretty good; comfortable bed. Would be nice to have a refrigerator in room, and to have ice machines on more than one floor. Parking garage is pretty bad; needs to be renovated. The reason for "poor sleep quality" is not the hotel itself, but that other guests were very noisy.

I stayed at the hotel for two 3 day stays. The Hotel Staff was absolutely fantastic and the rooms were bright and very comfortable. I would recommend if you are in the Pittsfield, MA area that you consider this hotel first.

Our stay was really fun and we found to pool and hot tub to be clean. Many times we have stayed at different places and have been disappointed by not being able to enjoy these things because they are either dirty or the chemicals are so out of wack and you can't breath and relax at the same time.
Unfortunately while attending a benefit in the Ball Room my camera was stolen. I did leave it on the table so I take responsibility for not being careful enough. The part I would like to mention is the follow up by the staff to my reporting the camera missing. My first call that night was well received. I checked back in the morning and Jessica was very nice and said she would check on it but I didn't expect to hear anything back. She called back in a little while to tell me she had check again with the cleaning staff and that the security person was aware of the missing camera. Then after we arrived home my daughter received a phone call from someone saying they were sorry but the camera still had not been found. So I never got the camera back, I'll be more careful next time but I was really impressed with the follow up to my crisis. Luckily my husband had just removed all the pictures from the memory card. :) Thank you for the good service. We stay every year for this benefit and will continue to do so.

On the whole, the hotel is okay, but do not stay in Room 813. there was a squeaking noise on and off all night, possibly from the elevator. It is quite annoying. Also, the coffee in the restaurant at breakfast is terrible! Very weak, with no flavor.

My fiance and I stay at the Crowne Plaza (Pittsfield) about 4 times a year. We usually have a good time and there are no major issues with our rooms or the service. Our last stay was ok and we had a few minor flaws.. First, I noticed that there was only ONE facecloth in the bathroom which was odd, because they always leave atleast 2-4 of them. Second, I went to use the tiny travel size lotion that is always in the basket in the bathroom along with the shampoos and such, and the lotion was empty! Then our third flaw was that I found a dirty sock that didn't belong to us! I found it under the TV on the narrow shelf of the dresser. I was totally stunned... I didn't report any of these issues.. I just laughed them off..

We went to HD opera two blocks away .Walked to dinner about one and half blocks . Spent the night in KING size full comfort room. Then had a very satisfying breakfast in the Hotel. A great stopover before traveling to AUTO show in Albany. Nice place to relax and convenient to all your needs.

All of the Front Desk personnel were most helpful and very courteous - from handling the initial reservation to answering questions, suggesting appropriate stores for needed items and recommending restaurants nearby. Everyone made me feel like they were glad to see me and were eager to help in any way.

The staff did mot have my room ready - they put me in a room that they knew I did not like and I did get a serious attitue from someone in room service who screwed up my order and when i called they "werelike so do you want me to remake it" and I said yes, and got worse than my original order. At least at check out the took the charge off my bill
