Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sleepless in Pittsfield I didn't realize that a train track is about 2 blocks from the hotel. Thru out the evening every hour on the hour, a train would go thru town and blow its horn. I am glad I was only there for 2 days. February 28, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok hotel Checking in was easy, the room is clean but the lighting is depressing. Noisy people around. Restaurant very uninviting. February 27, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing We have stayed at this hotel before and were very pleased. This time not so much. Our room was on the mezzanine floor, very uninviting and dark. Everything looked old. Obviously the cheap seats, although we paid the advertised charge. We paid for a king size bed, which was not what we got. We questioned the front desk, who after arguing with us, agreed to have the size of the bed confirmed - no follow up at all. Everything in the room was low, but it was not a handicap room. The window blinds were covered with a coating of dust, don't know when they were last cleaned and just glad neither of us has allergies! The mezzanine floor must be near a kitchen as each morning the odor of the cooking food permeated the corridor. And finally no sound proofing whatsoever between the rooms, the occupant of the room next to us rose early and talked on and on, which prevented us from sleeping in and was very annoying! If you must stay there do not stay on the mezzanine floor. February 26, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Never again!!! I would not recommend this place to stay. We showed up on Friday afternoon between 3 and 4. We had a room on the second floor by the pool area. We had to carry our luggage up to the second floor. I have a bad back. We dealt with it. The room seemed to be very nice but a little out dated but once again we dealt with it. We tried to unwind and relax for a little while and watch some tv, which was very hard to do considering that the nose from the pool area was so loud we couldn't hear the tv you would think that they would have had sound proof doors and windows. We heard noise all day and all night. So Friday night about 7:00 pm we get a call from the front desk, some truck hit my husband truck. That night was now gone having to stand outside for the police and paper work. Oh what a joy that was. Saturday we wanted to relax prior to going into town for dinner and a show (the reason why we were in Pittsfield) All day Saturday we could not enjoy the pool or Jacuzzi because there was on family of 20 people or so who took over the whole area. I do understand that there is no life guard but you would think that management would have walked through there establishment to see what was going on. Mean while we still not have heard from management about what they were going to do about my husbands truck. We go out for the night. Sunday morning we hear kids in the pool screaming and yelling at 7:30 am oh how fun that was, at 9:00 am house keeping was trying to get into our room, check out time is 12:00. What was there excuse on that one. So when we go to leave I ask for a copy of the report made for someone hitting my husbands truck. The girl at the desk said I don't have one and management is not here until 5:00 pm. also they tried to over charge us. You would have thought that management would have came to us to make sure everything was okay. NOT February 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beyond our expectations We had an overnight at the Crowne Plaza in Pittsfield, MA and we were more than pleased with the experience. Everyone on the staff was hospitable and competent. We will tell our friends about the great service you provide. Thanks! January 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gret Nights Sleep Very pleasantly surprised by the Crowne Plaza. It is centrally located and the staff was efficient while the mattress and pillows gave us a great night's sleep. Special kudos to the breakfast waitress staff, they worked really hard. January 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rude Awakenings Scheduled a brief ski trip to the Berkshires with my young girls. We arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm and after checking in had to find location of a cvs to buy children's Motrin. Front desk was helpful and we headed across the street. We were informed to park in the garage attached to hotel upon return. We parked on the lowest level, it was poorly lit and poorly marked to find steps to main lobby. No ticket was needed for entry which makes no sense as the ability was there to monitor access. Sometime during the night out car was broken into. Shame on me for leaving things covered in the car but thought it would be safe. In morning we started loading up and to much surprise my daughter starts crying that her gifts from Santa had been stolen. I immediately walked into front desk mad to my disbelief we filled out an incident report but there was zero compassion, though I was told the GM is a caring man he is yet to contact us yet. After further review of car we realized that my ski jacket, pants, car chargers, dunkin donuts gift books and all loose change was taken. While everything can be replaced for around $1000 it confuses me that the management of hotel could care less. Now we are visiting Pittsfield Police department to finalize report with zero assistance from hotel. Entire situation is very questionable and I would recommend not staying at this hotel if you care about your belongings. December 30, 2013
