We have been going for years to this fine hotel for MBOTMA's Winter Bluegrass weekend, and I can't say enough about how wonderful this experience has been. Since the Crowne Plaza took over this expansive hotel, the decor has improved immensely & the fine quality service has endured. This is a first rate, stylish hotel with all the amenities for a superb weekend getaway. The beds are so comfortable, the decor so modern & elegant, the staff consistently attentive & professional, yet warm & welcoming. We will be back! Looking forward to it.

We stay every year for the bluegrass festival and we always have a good stay! Staff is great and will do whatever they can to help and always have a smile and make you feel at home! Keep up the good work!!!!

I have visited this property in the past and that is the reason for my returning. Ryan and Jae at the front desk are absolutely wonderful. Please recognize them in a formal and public manner within your organization. Any and every need that I had was made available in a professional, timely and courteous way by both Ryan and/or Jae. The cleaning crew, the bar staff, the health club staff and every other individual that I encountered either directly or indirectly provided world class service to me during my stay. My only gripe is with regard to the mattress in my room (2005). It was tired and needs to be replaced. I am not sure if this is indicative of all of your rooms at this property, but if so, I strongly suggest getting replacements right away. Otherwise, Job Well Done!

We do a lot of traveling to/from our time shares. Crowne Plaza Minneapois West has the most comfortable beds we have ever found, bar none! Our requireents are a clean bathroom and comfortable bed and Drowne Plaza had both!

Returned to my room one evening from working locally on business. Found my door propped open with the security latch. Somebody from maintenance was in the room doing work on the tv and forgot to lock the door properly behind them. Nothing was stolen luckily but I wonder how long it was like that. I had my Bose and ipod in there! Will never stay here again and I usually stay in a hotel up to 100 nights a year.

On check in, I asked staff for a upgrade which was for my platinum membership, I was informed that the Hotel was full and no upgrade was available! The staff member immediately apologized and asked if I would be willing to accept 4 vouchers to the hotels brunch for me not getting the upgrade. I did go to the brunch with my family the next morning and the food and service was remarkable. The room was average in comfort but outdated as far as decor went. Overall I would go back to this hotel just because of the staff being so kind, courteous and professional.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza was an overnight stop on the way home from Christmas holiday. I was pleasantly surprised to find this excellent hotel allowed small pets at no extra charge. And there was even a doggie treat bag! The large lobby was still beautifully decorated with trees, garlands and such, and a wonderful "holiday" scent welcomed us. The fireplace glow in the attached lounge/restaurant looked inviting. The rooms have/are being renovated. We were given a room on the lobby level, for convenient access to outside for our dog. And we had new linens, granite bathroom counter, etc. Rooms are not very large, but had a comfortable bed, cozy recliner, and a small mirror /grooming area outside of the bathroom. Staff were very friendly. It was very quiet due to the "business" specialty of the hotel, and no business travelers. Hotel has a walking area right beside a "marsh", and is attached to a local gym, which can be accessed. We would come here again!!

The only problem I had was that our king sleep number system did not hold air all night. I set my side to 45 at nidnight and by 5am it was down to 5, and boy did I have a back ache

My husband's Holiday Party was held here on Dec 1st. The food was delicious and the staff courteous. The hotel was festive and beautiful. We also stayed in a room that was cozy and offered all the amenities you would want, including a free fitness center! Thanks for providing us with a beautiful hotel and banquet area to enjoy our night.

The Crowne Plaza Plymouth is consistently terrific. The beautifully landscaped property is surprisingly close to everything the Twin Cities have to offer. The elegant yet unpretentious interior is warm and inviting (and always smells great! Like an upscale men's clothing shoppe). Every member of the staff that I have encountered on my 5+ visits has been friendly and professional. World-class fitness facility (free weights, fitness studio, cardio balcony above the pool area, rooftop patio, bike rentals, sand volleyball, running path, etc.) within steps of your clean, quiet, comfortable room. Whether you use the elevator or take advantage of the open staircases, travel within the hotel is easy. I can't wait to go back.

We were especially impressed with the gentleman manning the bar. We returned from a wedding reception and his service was exceptional. He brought us snacks and offered to refill them as we mentioned we were hungry. He checked back numerous times to see if he could do anything else for us.

I travel to Minneapolis 3 - 4 weeks each year and always stay at the CP in Plymouth or Bloomington. Pros: Breakfast and Bar are great. Polite individuals. Love having drinks in the evening after finishing up at the office. Rooms are very nice since the remodel and large TVs are great. Fitness room and pool are great as well. Negatives: If you get stuck with a room that connects to another you will be able to hear everything in the next room and beware, they'll hear everything in your room as well. Every time I've stayed on the second floor my room doesn't seem to get cleaned and it would appear the floors only get vacuumed or swept on Wednesdays. Which is ok if you check in Weds night, but expect the housekeeping to be severely lacking in quality through the entire stay. Overall I still recommend it to others because on the whole it is a nice place to make your home on the road, especially when compared to others in the western metro area.

The Crown Plaza was a lovely surprise. I stayed while attending a conference. The atmosphere was appealing, the rooms lovely. We were also served brunch as well as lunch and the food was exceptional for a large group. The desserts were a delightful temptation, it was hard to select just one.

I stayed there on a saturday night for just the night. I paid for my room in cash, and the front desk staff charged my credit card twice. So i basically was charged 3 times for my one night stay. It was a pain to get reimbursed. It took 5 days to get my money back and I had to speak with the front desk multiple times, the accountant, the manager, my credit card company, and my bank. I have never been put through such an inconvience like this before in my life. The staff members were all very rude. Even the manager. I would never go back.

We recently had our AEM conference at the Crowne Plaza. It far exceeded my expectations. Maureen and her group were responsive, organized and attentive. They did everything possible to insure a successful conference. I can't say enough about the food! It was wonderfully prepared with as great deal of variety and exquisite presentation . My room was beautiful and inviting. I loved staying at the Crowne Plaza and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of hosting a conference there.

We have loved staying at Scanticon/Raddison/ Crowne Plaza
It is one of the most dog friendly facilities in the country.
The staff is always welcoming and warm. In our last stay, not only was the front desk group always great, but Ryan deserves special merit. Indeed, the breakfast coupons gave us our first opportunity to dine in the morning on property.
Anytime we need a local retreat, we will continue to look upon the Crowne Plaza, particularly with Michael as manager, as our place of rest, refuge and refreshment.

My experience at Plymouth's Crowne Plaza was superb. The facilities were top shelf. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant was very good. And every staff member I came in contact with over the duration of my stay was courteous, helpful and professional. I will be back in the area in April and I know where I'll be staying.

1st night we arrived, a Thursday, there were no bath towels, and we didn't realize it until Friday morning, when showering.
On Friday room didn't get cleaned until 3:45PM.
On Saturday, we had to go to front desk at 4:15 to ask to have someone come and clean the room.
Housekeeping at your hotel is not up to the standards of other Holiday Inns.
At checkin, no recognition of platinum status, and was told no room room upgrades available.

I have stayed in places that were not as nice and the quality was not like what I just received.
Great value, excellent staff and my overall experience was excellent. I wish that they would have a Ballroom dance competition at the Crowne Plaza I would attend it in a heartbeat.

I would have rated all fives for this property, except the room A/C was not functioning for anyone in my large group. I think the management had turned off the main A/C or something - the fan ran, but it was over 78 in my room the whole time. I was with a large group and everyone complained about it. Other than that, this was a very nice hotel.

I used to live in Saint Paul, and stayed at this Crowne Plaza on a recent weekend to visit friends. This is the fourth Crowne Plaza in the Twin Cities that I have stayed in (Eagan, Airport, Bloomington), and the nicest of the bunch. Although it's located far away from where I usually visit, this was a nice change. The interior felt nicer, especially the comfortable lobby in which to work.
Nearby is a nice park for running alongside the lake, and the highway is close and convenient. The only downside was that I didn't receive any extra perks as a Platinum member like I do from the other area Crowne Plazas.
