Rooms are very dated people walking in off the street at all hours and roaming non secured floors, was woken up last night 3 different times by kids roaming the halls. House keeping was horrible, you must ask them to change the sheets and for facecloths they NEVER vacuum rooms,never. Carpets and walls and even the ironing board has Buai (beetle nut) stains on them. Housekeepers leave doors blocked open while cleaning and then walk away because they forgot something, leaving you room and property open to thieves and other guests. February 13, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by crowne by name only I have stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotels at Coogee Beach, Surfers Paradise, Singapore and Kuala Lumpar and found all of these hotels to be of excellent quality with great value for money accommodation and meals. The same cannot be said for the Crowne in Port Moresby where the room rates are extremely inflated and the quality of food to be fair at best. December 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight Stay POM The hotel location was good if you wanted to be downtown. The room was clean, but had been well used over the years. Nice view from the room. I was on the 8th floor. When I arrived to the room I observed that there were no bath towels. At 1.15 p.m. I made a request for towels. They did not arrive and it took at least five calls to the front desk for them. Eventually they arrived at around 4.30 p.m. This was a slow reaction from the hotel staff. There was an excuse that the laundry was having problems. Surely there was a stock of towels at hand for a large hotel such as The Crowne Plaza. In this area the staff needs more training. The "Happy Hour" was pleasant and it was worth the effort to have an Executive Room. The restaurant was good. Some of the public rooms are in need of a re-decoration; they are starting to look tired. As with most good hotels in POM a little over priced, but this probably the influence of the PNG LNG project. December 6, 2013
