Great for stays to see a show at the Moda Center

I took my three kids here to see a show at the MODA center. We had a great time. Check-in was easy and the lobby made a great impression. We had a very short walk to the Moda Center (maybe 5-8 minute walk with kids) to see the show, and walking back at night felt safe and perfectly secure. The beds were comfy and roomy. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced (especially for kids, compared to a lot of places, I think it was $5 for kids and something in the low-teens for me) and had great food with plenty of choices. We spent part of the next morning at the pool and hot tub, a big hit with the kids. I liked how their doors could slide open for some summer air, but close for cool weather. We got a late check-out of 12:30 with no trouble. Valet parking was only two dollars more than self-park, a huge convenience. Overall we thought this was great and will stay again if we are traveling to Portland for an event. Oh and the little toiletries with the aromatherapy and so on were really cool and a big hit with the kids. Loved it.

This was unbelievable. I"m a Royal Ambassador with Intercontinental and IHG and they have no IC in Portland so I elected to stay there. The air conditioning didn't work the whole time I was there, it was over 90 degrees in the room at night. The first day they gave us 50% off , the second night only 25.00 discount. That is shameful to take so long to fix the AC and to only give $25.00 discount on the second night, quite frankly the discount should have been bigger on the second night since there is no reason why it took so long to fix the problem.

Overnight stay before flying out of Portland Airport

We were happy to get rooms next to our daughter and grandsons at this wonderful hotel.
We had vacationed on the west coast and our flight arrangements to get back home to the Mid-west. We opted at the last minute to book the rooms and stay over prior to our flight, allowing the grandsons to sleep in for awhile in the morning before "rushing" to the airport. They thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool that night also!
We would highly recommend this hotel to others.
