Transfers to and from hotel went well in spite of airline delay on arrival.
Room somewhat small for price paid.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mplm2 stay before cruise
Had a 3 night stay prior to cruise & was very happy with stay. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Set up free shuttle from airport & has no problems. Also very easy to get to Venice on train, maybe 30 minute ride. Saw city & how pretty all was, including countryside on way from hotel. Good places to eat within walking distance too.

We had a beautiful room with great service. The train station behind the hotel, allowed us to visit Venice at a low cost. The concierge service was the best; they helped us locate our lost luggage, assisted with electrical outlets and anything else we needed. We highly recommend this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mandy18 Great Location for Venice Visit
This hotel was a great location for our visit to Venice a convenient and more affordable option.
The Hotel was spotless and the staff very helpful and the breakfast was good.
The hotel was situated next to the train station (although you couldn't hear it) and there were regular trains running into Venice.
The free wifi was fast although we had to keep reconnecting, however, to be fair we never asked about this so maybe they could have sorted it for us.
Would definitely come back here if visiting the area again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Blue31 Limited benefits for IHG platinum elite members....
We used to travel abroad using our priority club points and this is the only hotel who charged us extra for the room and breakfast.... As a platinum elite member(both me & my husband) we are used of getting upgraded rooms, however, on this case we got upgraded with an extra charge for our room...
On the other side, the room is clean and made us comfortable, staffs are nice and polite... Close to the train station which only 20-30mins away from Venice...

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dodjah Quarto d'Altino - Great Location - Hotel - Average
As far a location is concerned, this hotel is barely a minutes walk from the railway station that takes you directly to Venice, you can buy rail tickets at the front desk - ie, superb! In all other respects, this hotel is average to poor in terms of what would be the usual Crowne Plaza experience (ie, there isn't one). The food is expensive and mediocre beyond belief, the staff are poorly trained and decidedly unattentive in the extreme, best summed up as a sham of a Crowne Plaza hotel in all respects. However, it's location overides all it's short comings, and the fact it is poor and then some should not put you off staying if all you need is a place to sleep with easy access to Venice. Eat away from the hotel though, the food is poor to average at best, and there are cheaper and far better quality alternatives such as the Pizzaria in QDA barely 10 mins walk from the hotel. Stay away from the staff, the aircrew and the coached in tourists, and this hotel can be an ideal base for a short trip to Venice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Zak1 easy access to Venice
If your are planning to visit Venice only for one day with family and arriving by car than staying in Crown plaza is valuable. You can Park your car free. Get train from side of hotel and you will be in Venice in 20 minutes. You can buy Train ticket from Front desk, which I believe 7 Euro per person with return. you don't have to carry your luggage to Venice and don't have to pay extra for Car Park.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tanis Tired but as convenient as can be had in Venice
When staying in Venice one can choose between romantic but very expensive hotels in the old city or just get a bed somewhere convenient.
The latter category fits the Quarto Dáltino Crown Plaza. The hotel is quite far away from the old town and all the sights, but it is located right next to the train station that gets you there, (its virtually in their back yard).
This is just what I needed, 'cause after a short sightseeing stop in Venice I was due to board a cruise ship, the terminal of which (or at least the monorail that gets you there) is close to the train station I was heading to from Quarto Dáltino.
The hotel itself looks quite tired; there are plenty of old stains on all the carpets, the TV-sets in the rooms are still CRT type TV's!! (no flatscreens), they must be 40 yrs old at least!
Staff was not unfriendly, but maybe as tired as the hotel. Dining room is too well lit, (it feels like a corporate cafetaria). Food was acceptable.
