Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best short stay ever I decided to book this hotel room for the day since my 2 year old grandson was with us. 9 am to 11 pm on the streets of Venice would be too stressful for him as well as for he 4 adults with him. We were given a free upgrade to a larger room. Even though we only used the room for 5 hours, the hotel staff made up the sofa bed. We all had a nap and repacked out shopping before our 11 pm flight to London. Enough towels were provided for a shower/bath each. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very reasonable and well prepared. A nice finish to our last few hours in Venice. I would certainly rebook this hotel.' July 26, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Andy L The hotel was clean, restaurant food was good and hotel staff was mixed...some "very good" and some only "marginal". Our biggest complaint was that the bathtub had no drain plug and the shower drain ran slow, so we couldn't use the tub, and the shower tended to overflow onto the floor. We asked several times to get this corrected, each time being told it would be fixed...but it never got fixed. The hotel is very convenient to the train station for a quick ride to and from Venice. A huge savings in hotel rate compared to being right in you can spend you money having fun in Venice rather than paying outrageous hotel rates in Venice. All in all, an average rating, but the cost saving probably makes it a good place to stay. July 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and base to visit Venice! This was a great location for our vacation to Venice. The facility was very nice, clean, comfortable and transportation into the city of Venice was very convenient. The staff was also quite friendly, courteous, and helpful. My only complaint is that I tried to contact the Hotel from our prior stop in Paris to inquire about the best means of transportation to get to the Hotel, as we were arriving by train. I was not able to reach anyone using the IHG resources. If I can make one suggestion, which you may or may not be able to provide, it would be helpful if guests could be informed of the best or most economical way to reach the Hotel from the airport or rail station. Other than getting to the Hotel in a more economical fashion than taxi, I would definitely return for a future stay and most certainly would recommend it to others. July 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet & Safe Though, we arrived during spring time, temperature was quite warm and there was no way that we could have any air conditioning turned on. In cases of temperature change, the hotel should at least be flexible with the ease of stay of the customers. Overall, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, linens are clean.Front desk people were accommodating, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is just at the back of the train ( Quarto d'Altino#, It is so convenient to go to Venice, easy access. It is a good place to stay at if you want some quiet time from the busy Venice. It is situated in a small town and you can go for a walk at the neighboring town. Breakfast was fine but not recommending the Il Campiello restaurant as it is too expensive for the food you will get. There is a local restaurant not too far away from the hotel # about 3-5 min. walk# and it is called Ristorante Cosmorì. Food is great especially id you like seafoods. Quite pricey but satisfying. There is also a pizza place situated in their town #about 10 -15 min leisure walk) and it is good as well, Ristorante Pizzeria Vecio Decimo July 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel and close to the train There's a lot I can say about this hotel, all of it positive. So I won't go into detail about the hotel itself. What I would like to point out is it's proximity to the train station, which is located directly behind the hotel. You do not hear the trains at all, but you can walk there in less then 5 mins and catch a train to St. Lucia, about a 20 min ride. The front desk will even sell you the tickets required, so no hassle. This may not sound like a big point, but if you want to travel inexpensively to and from the Island, there is no easier way. This is very convenient and is one of the reasons we would stay at this hotel again in the future. Briefly, the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant served a very nice breakfast and their lunch/dinner menus had a nice variety. Staff was pleasurable. July 12, 2014
