Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kerberus1 a la cart wi-fi, Really?
The hotel was a good experience. Clean rooms, professional staff, terrible cell phone service inside the building (not their fault); however, I stayed there as part of a business conference and wi-fi access was an additional charge. That in itself wasn’t too much of an insult, but the wi-fi was unreliable and had a persistent need to re- log in. The hotel wasn’t overpriced, but it certainly wasn’t cheap. As a business traveler I need regular access to the internet and most places provide free wi-fi for their guests. If I do have to pay extra for it I expect a rock-solid system. This was not. Was it bad enough to stay somewhere else next time? ... as a business traveler, Yes. It’s hard to keep up with emails when wi-fi is spotty and its all the more frustrating when I paid extra for it. I get better wi-fi service at a local Starbucks and that’s free. Next time I’ll pick a hotel next to a Starbucks and get both free and reliable wi-fi.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Surfermom20 Backache and noisy pool
The room was nice, and clean. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable, sheets were like paper, and the oversized down pillows were too much. I know each to his own, but for us it was uncomfortable. The poolside room from off the balcony was very disturbing from 8:30p till 10p, with several children, parents in hot tub, screaming and shouting like maniacs. Really? Had to call front desk twice to get security out there to tell them to lower the noise. Other than that, all was well. Oh, and parking garage fees were a tad expensive. Oh and I know you are not affiliated with the Ruby's Diner across the street, but they are not good. Service was horrible, and food was average.

Great Bed. May have to buy one just like it. Our stay was two days away from Remodeling Mess.
Thank you for the Treat. Brunch at Splash took the edge off and helped revitalize the spirit

My wife and I stayed for a night a couple of weeks ago. The hotel had just gone though a multi - million dollar complete renovation of all of their guest rooms. Being a previous customer many times - I was thrilled to experience their new rooms - and could not be happier. They are fresh, modern and very comfortable. Also had dinner in Splash restaurant - and the food and service was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable stay and the entire staff of the hotel could not of been more professonal, service orientated and friendly.

The location and service at the Redondo Crowne Plaza was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was a short walk to Hermosa beach in one direction and the Redondo Pier in the other. I would stay there again for sure.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gala1 OK but some disappointments
Very comfortable bed and room, which is the most important. Also, swimming pool was excellent, I was able to do labs there every morning. Bummer was that smoking is allowed on the pool deck, and after swimming, receiving second hand smoke is just wrong. In the room- TV remote didn't work. All the moderate hotels nearby had free wifi, but the Crowne offered $4.95 for a few hours. Overall it was an OK experience, with no frills and some disappointments.

Stay to this hôtel, from 7th to 15th of march, room 518 on the 5th floor. The staff and the service is very professional and kind, the hôtel has a great view and very well located. Unfortunatly, the rooms are too noisy and really need a better soundproof !
I do recommend your hotel to my friends.
Thanks for our good stay!

The surroundings are great, the hotel is nice, but noise. One can hear the air whooshing trough the ducts, even so the in room a/c was off. The fridge is noise and disrupts sleep. The flat screen is dated and totally out of sync in the colors. No HD

The CP in Redondo Beach is a vastly improved hotel. The renovations are complete are the rooms and the common areas are beautiful. we really enjoyed our stay here. Our only complaints are that there should not be a wireless charge if you are in an executive room. CP should assume all "execs" need wireless to function and should stop using wireless as a way to nickle and dime people. Either include it in the room rate or stop charging extra.

Stayed here before on business and pleasure, always liking the hotel and location. Now it's even better. Love the new rooms-very fun carpeting (like waves, but soft and calming), great beds, nice redo of bath, and the new spa amenities are truly relaxing.
Had a terrific spa treatment and the sun was so strong that we played tennis and swam at the hotel's pool deck. Great sunset view from there, as well.
Highly recommend this place!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by andrea10 Yes, we can accommodate you
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for one night with 2 rooms. We were celebrating my Daughter's wedding. The other room was for my other Daughter and my Granddaughter. We asked for a crib and they said YES; for an early checkin to get dressed for the wedding and they said YES; We asked for an hour more on checkout for the wedding brunch and they said Yes; We asked for directions to get home to Studio City, Ca. due to closures on the 405 Freeway and they printed a great route to get home. I am in the service business and staff was friendly and very helpful. In fact, we are planning to stay at the hotel for a mini-vacation even though were are an hour and a half away! Thank you Crowne Plaza at Redondo Beach!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nobodycared1 Ridiculous TV
Was not told at check in but the TV stations were nearly all red in color and even with the lights off basically impossible to view. Asked front desk to have TV replaced and was told they were all this way because the cable provider had not yet upgraded their system...so sounds as if it had been going on for some time....no apology, no what can we do.....nothing ! Not at all what I would expect from a Crowne Plaza

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Viking41 Large room, very good bed, and average service
Was at this hotel recently for a conference. Breakfast (continental) was the SAME offering for 3 days. Some imagination could have added to the selection of just bagels and sweet rolls. Also, the snacks served during two receptions in the late afternoon were considered average and nothing spectacular. Your food manager needs to think outside the box that everyone else uses and offers to groups.

I would recommend this hotel in the summer months. During my recent visit the lobby and meeting rooms were extremely cold. So cold that the attendant in the gift shop was wearing a jacket. Most all the attendees in the 3-day seminar I attended complained about the cold.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Relaxing stay
This is probably my 8th or 9th stay at Redondo over the years. It was very pleasing to see that the hotel has been renovated and bedrooms and bathrooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Great location for beach, restaurants, recreation and general relaxing after a long flight and jet lagged work days. Excellent comfortable beds.
I can recommend this hotel to any visitor to the LA area who wants a high level of hotel. You need a car to get around - the daily cost of car parking is a bit high and this is my only negative.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Surfrider26 Leak in bathtub
We recently stayed here and when my girlfriend used the bath tub, the overflow did not work properly and water went under the wall between the bathroom and hallway and wet all of our clothes that we were going to wear that day. We also were inconveniences by having to switch rooms. We were not compensated for our inconvenience in any way. We have stayed here before and did not have any problems. i wrote to your Customer Care Department last week, but have not heard any reply back as of yet.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mach32V305 No Hot Water
If you are an early riser forget the hot water. Management knows they have a problem yet will not do anything to make sure hot water is available in all rooms. I let the water run for twenty minutes and still showered and shaved with cold water. Asked the nice lady at the front desk and she said they get complaints about it all the time and they keep telling management about the problem.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mel55 Would stay again
We stayed recently in a newly refurbished room, which was very comfortable. The beds were amazing - best sleep in a long time! The renovations may not have been quite complete as there were pencil marks still on the bathroom floor and the doors to the bathroom had plaster on them - they were louvre doors which should be changed to solid in my thinking. It pays to be a Priority Club member as this was the only hotel in our entire trip (we stayed at 7 other major hotels nationwide) that was going to charge for internet! It is evidently a perk of being a Priority Club member (a bit out of date now). The position of the hotel was great, we had a lovely day walking the waterfront. Did not use the restaurant as it was closed at 1.30pm when we went to have a drink and a bite to eat. We would like to have stayed longer to enjoy the pool.
