I have frequented this hotel over 100 time in the last 5 years. This used to be a top of the line hotel with a great location and great value. In the last few years, this hotel has certainly declined. In my recent stay, the room was visibly dirty, the bathroom sink was loose from the stand, the remote control didn't work, and the TV reception was poor at best. This has become a regular occurance in many of my recent stays. One final change that has me seriously reconsidering this hotel are the pillows. I have found it difficult to sleep due to the firmness and oversized volume of the new pillows on every bed. I genuinely like this hotel, but the rooms need better upkeep or I will look elsewhere.

Booked this hotel for the marathon. great location and room was awesome. staff was great too. food in restaurant was ok........not the best I've had, but its a hotel so expectations were not too high.

I have rarely found staff so sullen and unpleasant as the staff at this hotel (especially check-in and check-out staff). It began on check in... the woman took off to do something for some other patron and simply did not return (until apparently after her break). No joke, this happened. And we stood there for at least 15 minutes before we asked the other staff member there if that one was returning. Amazing. Any request, no matter how small, was met with what seemed to be almost contempt. I have honestly never experienced anything like it during my 52 years thus far. We never use shuttles, but needed to on this visit, to take us to my daughter's graduation. We had to wait over an hour for him to return and then he claimed he had come by earlier (he had not). Even then, he was unfriendly. Something in the water? The room was fine, except for the fact that the A/C didn't work well (and the first request didn't result in any service visit, only the 2nd request many hours later).
It was a joyous occasion, but made much less nice by the fact that the hotel was so much less than anticipated. It had been years since I stayed at a Crowne Plaza, but remembered the past experience in positive terms. This was bad, start to finish. I don't know who is running the show over there, but he/ she is either blind or doesn't care. Pick one,

The hotel is in a prime location. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The bed was wonderful to sleep on and the view was awesome. The hotel made me feel like I was the most important guest. I will definitely return. The room service was prompt and the food was GREAT! I used the shuttle service and it was prompt and the drivers was great. I have nothing but glowing reviews for this hotel. I hope you have the same experience.

The venue was totally sold out due to Mother's Day AND commencement weekend. Thankfully I booked early; this placed us in a lovely 10th story room with a spectacular view overlooking canal. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. I had a similar experience w/ the Crown Plaza brand in Philly, PA so I am developing loyalty. Thanks for hosting great memories!

would have liked a less noisy floor. Rooms on my floor were filled with Prom Nite students and there was much room visiting, doors slamming and loud greetings in the hallways.

We loved being able to walk to the canal and river trails and found plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. Room was very nice and we enjoyed the whirpool in the evening. Only drawback was the fire alarms caused by a sprinkler problem.
