The rooms were pretty dirty. The housekeeping staff did not take away used glassware, nor did they replace the used coffee or shampoo and conditioner. The restaurant staff was quite rude and very slow.

The hotel lobby was very nice the room was ok for being remodeled, the breakfast was HORRIBLE, there was NO food in the buffet, had to wait the hotel Manager said that was the restaurants fault not theres, however when u give the breakfast tickets with checking, u are affiliating yourself with the restaurant, was highly unsatisfiedvwith my stay.

We chose this hotel because of it's location. One of the only hotels in the area and we were visiting family near by for the holiday. The price was right. We weren't planning to stay long. We were quite pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We had actually gotten the room next to the elevator and did not notice interruptions from the elevator during the night. The hotel was quiet and very relaxing for our stay.

The Dining Staff was excellent! Especially your waiter named Mike, he made having dinner with you a very lovely experience. Great sense of humor and you can tell he loves his job!! Kudos to Crowne Plaza, Sacramento, Northeast!!
Only problem I had was sleeping next to I-80. Totally not your fault, I just live in the country and not used to the noise!! :)
Did find a water spotted ice bucket in the room. Probably could have been cleaner. Cant win everything!

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a week while I was attending a work related event. On first impression, the hotel looked nice and my room was nice. I checked out the hotel restaurant/bar while there. The service from the bartender was really polite but the food was sub-par. For a hotel trying to pass itself off as classy, the menu was really lacking. Unless you like places that serve items like potato skins and quesadillas. I would say the food at this hotel was the worst food I have ever been served at a hotel. The salmon I tried tasted so rotten that I sent it back after one bite. And their breakfast buffet took pathetic to a whole new level. The Crowne Plaza should really consider a new chef or a new menu. It was atrocious. I was offered a free breakfast buffet in the cost of my room but I opted to pay for breakfast after the second morning at Starbucks. The clientele in the bar was a whole different story. There were a number of men "getting a drink on the way home from work". Hotel bar seems like an odd place for that. Overall, the atmosphere in the bar made me uncomfortable.
