Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Furniture and room and friendly service. I enjoyed having a big comfy chair and ottoman to relax in with reading lamp. The room was a good size too. The bathroom was roomy and I liked having a drawer. The magnifying mirror was helpful. It would be even better if it could be used to see the back of my head with the main mirror. I liked the tall sink faucet for using with bottles. The bedding and bed was comfortable. I did not like the air conditioner blowing on me when I was sitting a the desk. Otherwise the temperature of the room was just right. I could have used a refrigerator and a microwave but didn't think to ask. Thank you December 11, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so happy Do the maids clean? Found a bottle of massage oil by the bed which was horrifying. The heater did not work, so we had cold air blowing on us all night. Carpet ripped by front door. TV remote did not work. Furniture dinged up Lobby was nice but I would recommend looking for another hotel. December 10, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by experiance The hotel lobby was very nice the room was ok for being remodeled, the breakfast was HORRIBLE, there was NO food in the buffet, had to wait the hotel Manager said that was the restaurants fault not theres, however when u give the breakfast tickets with checking, u are affiliating yourself with the restaurant, was highly unsatisfiedvwith my stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable rooms We chose this hotel because of it's location. One of the only hotels in the area and we were visiting family near by for the holiday. The price was right. We weren't planning to stay long. We were quite pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We had actually gotten the room next to the elevator and did not notice interruptions from the elevator during the night. The hotel was quiet and very relaxing for our stay. December 2, 2013

Great sense of humor and you can tell he loves his job!! Kudos to Crowne Plaza, Sacramento, Northeast!! Only problem I had was sleeping next to I-80. Totally not your fault, I just live in the country and not used to the noise!! :) Did find a water spotted ice bucket in the room. Probably could have been cleaner. Cant win everything! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Elsewhere, not worth the price I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a week while I was attending a work related event. On first impression, the hotel looked nice and my room was nice. I checked out the hotel restaurant/bar while there. The service from the bartender was really polite but the food was sub-par. For a hotel trying to pass itself off as classy, the menu was really lacking. Unless you like places that serve items like potato skins and quesadillas. I would say the food at this hotel was the worst food I have ever been served at a hotel. The salmon I tried tasted so rotten that I sent it back after one bite. And their breakfast buffet took pathetic to a whole new level. The Crowne Plaza should really consider a new chef or a new menu. It was atrocious. I was offered a free breakfast buffet in the cost of my room but I opted to pay for breakfast after the second morning at Starbucks. The clientele in the bar was a whole different story. There were a number of men "getting a drink on the way home from work". Hotel bar seems like an odd place for that. Overall, the atmosphere in the bar made me uncomfortable. November 11, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One Night Getaway While I enjoyed the room and it's amenities, I was a bit disappointed in one minor thing....which was hotel bathroom in unit. I asked customer service if this hotel had a large soak spa bath tub (in unit) and I was told that this hotel had it which made me choose this hotel. Once I got to the room, I found there was no large soak bath tub and this was disappointing, however since the room was already paid for, I ended up staying over night which was still enjoyable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the 6 pillows make for an amazing night of sleep. October 28, 2013

Location was perfect. Restaurants & a nice Target only 2 minutes away. Also 2 minutes off freeway - super convenient to get going the next morning. Breakfast was great too! October 21, 2013

Breakfast buffet was easy and tasty with more options than I could eat.. Not much else within a short walk. Wonderful bed, but I-80 is right outside the back and that will bother most folks. But the freeway noise is obtrusive and the ice machines are strategically located in the middle of the hallways, with no shielding, so as to maximize the loudness. Woke up lots of times that night... You would think they'd at least put noise deadening curtains in the rooms... October 9, 2013

The restaurant is very good (salads were excellent and large with a good amount of meat). The morning room service server has a great personality. All in all a great value and place to stay! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff and rooms fabulous Staff and beds were truly amazing. The beds are really really clean and comfy. These are the positives! The not so positive..we went as a family vacation to do things in Sacramento and visit family and just relax and hang out. Sadly we had promised the kids to swim in the pool a lot. Well the pool was FREEZING! I've never ever even seen a pool so darn cold. So we couldn't swim at all. That was incredibly disappointing to me kids and us. The other downer was the general feel of the hotel...kind of cold. Nothing (except the exceptional staff) was warm and welcoming and the food was not very food in the restaurant. It was all very cheap buffet tasting food and I didn't get the buffet. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to relax and hang out due to the pool and restaurant but I sure would like to take the staff and beds with me! September 26, 2013

The facilities are good for business meetings. The only negative comment I have is that the bathroom sink drained slowly, (I had two different rooms during my stay and both rooms had slow drains in the bathroom sink.). September 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room. Booked at last minute and got a good rate for a very small room, which was fine for me. A very, very long walk from from desk and lobby to room. Bed was very very comfortable and room clean. The only drawback I can see is that the lobby and hotel design is a combination of Alice in Wonderland and a disco ballroom. Strange, not warm and welcoming. Hotel front staff was awesome. Would be nice if bar and restaurant were open a bit longer, esp. on the weekend. September 20, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Air conditioner was too noisy I chose Crowne Plaze because of the good rate and it is close to my destination. I had stayed there before about 3 years ago, it was Holiday Inn back then. The customer service at the front desk was good, the room was clean in general and the bathroom was renovated, except the worn out bath tub. However, the old air conditioner was automatically turned on and off intermittenly which was extremely noisy. Most likely, will not come back due to this problem. September 10, 2013
