After a LONG day on the road we arrived hoping to experience a Crowne Plaza reception only to be disappointed. After calling ahead and being assured our room was ready to check in, we were told we would have to wait another hour. Finaly two hours after the checkin time our room was ready. Well wouldn't you know it, they must have sped through the cleaning process because everything was not as tidy as it should have been. Forget the aeromatherapy good night sleep kit! They were really skimpy with everything. Then on top of everything, the two remotes in the room did not work, the batteries were low. We tried calling the front, but the phone just kept ringing and ringing. Needless to say we will not be returning to that particular hotel. No Priority Club Recognition!!!!

Every time I have stayed at this hotel. House keeping is always knocking at my door early in the morning the day of departure. I can't get any rest. I know what time check out is. Why do I get a knock on the door at 7a, 8a 9a.
I enjoy staying at this hotel. It fits well with my schedule. Great location to have meetings.

Made reservation on intercontinental website for pool, jacuzzi, and gym use. Arrived and pool and jacuzzi were drained. I stated at the front desk that something like that should be on the website, and the staff said that it was. I went straight up and logged on the internet, and the website still had no notification the pool and jacuzzi were closed. I was upgraded to executive level room, but not too impressed. Tub was still 1970s - old tile, recaulked many times. My room rate included breakfast, but attendant said the meal in executive lounge was breakfast, but I found it kind of meager, and late (room was empty and dark at 0630, and I had to leave by 0645 for a meeting). Rooms on back had direct view and sound from planes landing and taking off from airport.

So instead we do wkd getaways and this hotel has become our favorite get away for an adult weekend.

Had heating problems in my room,,,heating FAN would not turn off so after room heated to temp,,,fan kept running on high cooling room down,,so heating was going on and off,,couldnt sleep asked hotel to fix problem when i left for a few hours,,,they didnt,,,told front deask at check out they DIDNT care,,,worst crown plaza experience ever,,i SURE wont stay here again !!!

We enjoy staying at your hotel when in San Antonio,its convenient and a nice clean place. The problem was the bed was rock hard. We were there for 3 nights and it was uncomfortable every time we crawled in bed. I think the mattresses need to be upgraded. Other than that, the rooms are nice and clean. The only other problem I had is I made the reservation on one card and then my Grandmother wanted me to pay with her card . They told me they couldn't do that. I don't understand why when other hotels do?

I would not check in there with that price for as small as the room was. The employees were not very friendly and not talkative at all.
