Quick Stay for a ballgame and a little business

April 28, 2015

Hotel looks dated on the outside, but once inside it was extremely nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location

April 27, 2015

I was on business travel and this location was phenomenal - easy access to job site as well as airport. It literally took me two minutes from the car rental location to the hotel and a few minutes to major freeways. The hotel isn't inviting from the outside, but the inside was well appointed and modern. I could have been fooled. Didn't get a chance to eat at hotel, but I did order some dessert and the room service was quick and friendly. The chocolate lava cake was delicious! The toilet was awkward for me (I'm short). I felt like my feet would dangle whenever I sat down, and the toilet paper was an awkward reach. Whoever designed the bathroom never considered what it would feel like once you sat down. The only other thing that really bothered me was the linens. They smelled dusty. I have allergies to dust and mites and they kicked up a notch as soon as I walked in and more so when I laid down. But these are all just small nuances. On the customer service end, the only thing I wish would have been different was my check-in process. I arrived at 1am and explained to the front desk attendant that I was exhausted, tired, and looking forward to sleep. Had she been practicing active listening skills, she would have expedited my check in and had me on my way. Instead, she proceeded to tell me about the rewards program, forced me to sign up because "it only takes a bit of info and wont take long." She couldn't find anything either (paperwork, parking permit, a pen) because her desk was disorganized and littered with other paperwork from previous check-ins. Again, normally I wouldn't mind such small things, but after a long day of travel, all I wanted was a shower and a few hours of sleep before my early morning meetings. I just felt she could have been more considerate.

Dear summer00, Thank you for sharing your comments and concerns from your recent stay with us at the Crowne Plaza Seattle airport. I agree with you that the lava cake is absolutely delicious! Next time you're in town make sure you try our bread pudding with rainier cherries and Washington apples drizzled with caramel sauce. I apologize for the smell of the sheets, next time you stay with us we can definitely prepare your linens with a sensitive skin detergent which has no smell to it. I will also address the lengthy check in you experienced with our front desk agent. I understand how important it is to get right to bed after those long flights. Safe travels, Danielle Cavoto Assistant General Manager
