Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good as always Friendly staff, very helpful. Good hotel, the usual Crowne Plaza experience. Value for money for a 5* hotel. The only thing is you should get a power socket near the bed, so customers can use laptop in bed without worrying battery drained. Work your desk lamp's hinge a little, not very smooth. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service; good access to metro We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Crowne Plaza Landmark & Suites Shenzhen. We arrived at the Hong Kong Airport and then used a direct transfer service to get to the hotel. We arrived at the Crowne Plaza early (before 12:00 noon) but we were able to check-in at the Executive Club and obtain our room immediately. It was very spacious with a king-size bed, couch and sitting chair with a foot stool. It also included a very well-lit vanity area immediately outside the bathroom. The bathroom had both a shower and a full-size bath tub. Complimentary coffee, tea and water were replenished daily. The Crowne Plaza is very convenient to the metro (Guomao Station, Green Line). We were able to use the metro for touring throughout the city. Upon our departure from Shenzhen we also took the metro to the Shenzhen Airport without having to make any station changes (the Green Line ends at Shenzhen Airport). There are escalators so there is no issue with luggage. The Executive Club provides a great value. Breakfast is served at the Club each morning (although we choose to eat breakfast on the 3rd floor (Brew House) since it offered more variety – especially fresh noodle soup). Throughout the day cold beverages as well as hot tea/coffee are available along with snacks (peanuts, candies, cookies). In the evenings (5:30P – 7:30P) complimentary cocktails are served along with very upscale appetizers. There are both cold items (marinated salmon, cheeses, veggies & dip) as well as great hot items which vary every evening. The appetizers were replenished throughout the night so there is no problem if you arrive late during the happy hour sessions. Also, the Club is quite large so there’s no issue with seating. Our only tiny complaint was the lack of gin during our stay. It wasn’t a big deal because we drank vodka & tonic rather than gin & tonic but it was a bit surprising. We were told they usually have gin but were out of it. Service at the Executive Club is excellent. Staff members do a great job in ensuring you have everything you could possibly need. They are warm, friendly professionals with excellent English language skills. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the services we received from Marty (check-in & happy hour); Kally (check-out & happy hour); Kate (touring assistance & happy hour); Rainbow (touring assistance & happy hour) and Jessica (touring assistance). The Club Floor Manager has a great team! As noted above, the hotel breakfast is excellent. It has an amazing variety of dishes (Western, Chinese and Japanese) and they vary on a daily basis. The dishes were by and large very upscale such as sautéed Chinese mushrooms with peppers, smoked mackerel, marinated salmon and stir fried fresh greens just to name a few. One nice touch is that each table has wooden spoons on it with the table number. If you choose to have noodle soup or an omelet made-to-order, you leave the spoon as you place your order and one of the staff members will bring the dish to you after it is cooked. They serve a great cup of coffee and it is constantly replenished. We received excellent service from each of Nicole (Assistant Brew House Manager), Andrea (Hostess) and Luna (Staff Member). The Crowne Plaza was a great place and we will definitely return to the property when we next visit Shenzhen. March 28, 2013

Reasonable prices, affordable upgrades to lounge access, very good staff service, overall reasonably good english-speaking skills of staff and a very good location near restaurants, shops etc. Nice restaurants in hotel, including Prego, their very nice Italian restaurant. Only remark is the high prices of spa services, despite a 30% discount voucher. March 20, 2013

It was a warm feeling as we single business travelers are usually away from family and friends for awhile, Miffy accompanied me during my stay in Shenzhen. Thank you for your warm thoughts. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love your hotel! This was first stay at this hotel and I really loved it! The only negative is downtown and the traffic challenge - it is worth the travel. I loved it! My only comment is that I would enjoy an upgrade to the executive floor - how is this made possible? I booked 3 rooms on this occasion and we all enjoyed it. The Italian restaurant was also very good - unfortunately I spent too much enjoying the wine! Scott January 30, 2013

The rooms were well appointed and the added touches including Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries and pillow menu were lovely. We have travelled the world and found the staff of this hotel to be amongst the best, day after day they went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure a wonderful stay. We dined in all the restaurants and the food was exceptional. The spa and swimming pool was also a nice change from the hustle of the city. The limousine service was great! They prepared my favorite newspaper and foods, brought me a cake to my room in my birthday, which touched me a lot. I always had a happy chat with them. However, the F&B is not living up to its name, especially the western food. I ordered a grilled combo which turns out to be mini-sized fried kaba... That is very disappointing. Also, highly suggest provide thin blanket to room guest because it can get too warm to sleep with the down duvet in the heated room in winter time. January 4, 2013

I am not sure hotel can do anything as I think it is part of local culture. Your hotel not near as bad as some Crown Plaza Hotels but agian I think it is cultural issue. From the very moment I stepped from the kerbside and into the lobby and being greeted by Jay the Concierge, to the young lady who checked me in, to the excellent team of Alex and Jake at the Brew House bar & restaurant and the young lady at the Spa reception, nothing was ever too much trouble. All the staff I came into contact carried out their duties with a smile and good nature. Forgive me if I don't mention everyone individually by name as there were so many lovely members of staff all doing a great job. The quality and choice of the food and beverage was excellent at both breakfast and at the Italian restaurant and Brew House bar. The bedrooms and public areas were kept spotlessly clean and the sports and relaxation facilities were well kept and supplies of clean fresh towels plentiful. I cannot - could not - find any fault. Not that I was looking for faults, that's not my nature. If there was one thing it would only be the mashed potato I had with the first evening meal on the 1st December. it was very watery and not creamy at all, but that's a very minor point in the overall scheme of things. It was a real pleasure to reside at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark hotel. Truly it was, and I cannot emphasise enough that there's a great team spirit there and they've done themselves, the brand and indeed everyone proud. I sincerely look forward to coming back to Shenzen, next time for a holiday, and I will certainly be booking my stay at the same hotel. December 17, 2012

If you can upgrade to the Executive floor and lounge access it is well worth it. Food in the lounge including breakfast was great. All areas were very clean. The room was very well presented. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 软件比硬件好的酒店 虽说是全套房酒店，毕竟有一定时间了，所以我感觉硬件不是那么好，房间里始终有点霉味，窗户很小很难开，但我打电话去前台是很快就有了回应，在晚上1点还有服务人员及时过来开了窗，虽然我一晚上没睡好，但是退房时前台主动关心我的情况，并表示抱歉，比起之前甲蕃古城的感受真是天壤之别。其实有时候客人要的就是真诚的服务，少有不足只要有诚意大家还是会谅解，看来假日同一系统皇冠还真是个方面都会好很多。 December 3, 2012

I always look forward to my return stays when I am in Shenzhen. The staff is always extremely helpful & professional, all with a smile and a thank you. The restaurants are wonderful with fresh selections daily, and a helpful staff to aid in food suggestions. The rooms are large, quiet and offer all the comforts of home. The location is a 5 minute taxi ride from Lo Wu train station, and very convenient for shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends & family. I stayed there from 12.10. to 16.10.2012. and each day experienced excellent service, friendly and professional attitude from the staff.
