Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for transit passengers but...... Stayed here on-transit during my recent business trip. For the most part it has all the amenities needed, the service and location is great for people that are on transit. The hotel is located in Terminal 3 however my next flight was out of Terminal 1. There is tram service that runs between Terminal 1 and 3 however this service is shuts down betweeen 2-5am. My flight left at 6am and as such I was given 2 options. Either catch a shuttle bus which picks up at a terminal3 door or catch a cab. Since I had baggage, it would have been great if the shuttle bus stopped at the hotel lobby for pick-up, however they don't. I took a cab and paid about $10 for a 3 minute cab ride instead. One of the main reasons one would stay at this hotel was so that they can easily go for their next flight within the terminals when on transit. It defeated my purpose of staying here due to this incovenience and additional cost incurred. I hear that the Airport Authorities controls the tram service but Crowne Plaza should lobby them to run the service 24 hrs since this is a busy International airport. Furthermore, the rates charged at this hotel is not cheap either. The only reason they can get away with this is because they have no competition. I wonder what would happen if nearby hotels were to provide free 24hr shuttle service to and from Changi airport...... May 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a room!!!! The room is nothing short of wonderfull. Service in the restaurant was faultless. It would have been nice in reception if I would have been recognised as a gold class member even though I was waiting in the designated spot. May 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient to T3 and very comfortable room Very convenient to T3, great fitness center and pool facilities, comfortable room, though long wait at check out. May 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always love coming to this hotel As a layover this hotel is brilliantly situated on the airport. Rooms are top quality and quiet considering proximity to the plans, and I got excellent rest prior to my next leg of travel. Staff are super. May 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel with attentive staff Provides modern facilities. Nice rooms. Staff are very helpful. May 22, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Questionable food I stay at your hotel quite often as I travel to and from home to my work in Asia. From time to time I have had meals served to me from your restaurant at the Bar 75. I am almost always disappointed. If it was an isolated case then I could understand but even the last time I stayed, I asked for chicken caesar salad and was served chicken that was microwaved and didnt even taste like chicken. Just terrible! On this recent trip I ended up with a stomach bug from eating your food. Hainanese Chicken on this trip plus something I didnt want or pay for! I would have thought a hotel of your standing could get their food right! I have had other problems over the years with your restaurant as well. A shame really! May 20, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room, comfy, clean, quiet surprising very miserable receptionist, was there on check in and check out May 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great option for Changi stay This is one of my favorite hotels. It's such a comfortable option for a Changi airport stay. It's a bit of a splurge compared to the transit hotels but can be worth it if you want to treat yourself. My only real complaint is the cost of internet. It's not even provided to Priority Club members. May 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable room First, I made reservation on the phone. My English is not perfect, however the operator was very kind, calm, polite women. The room was excellent. Good quality of shampoo, conditioner, soap. Towel was clean too. Two service I wanted more was free breakfast and wifi in the room. Expensive for just sleep for 6 hours (because I arrived in Singapore at 4am in the morning. Then check out time was 12pm. ) Overall I'd love to stay again or recommend someone. May 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous one night stay We stayed in this hotel for one night as a Singapore stopover, it was a very short ride on the monorail from the terminal and the staff were friendly and courteous. We found the room to be very clean, the bed was super comfy and we had a great nights sleep. My seven year old was straight into the pool and had a refreshing swim after a long flight. Will be back for sure. May 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PERFECT LOCATION Crowne Plaza at Singapore Airport is in a great place. Out of the hotel straight into terminal 3 check in area. May 17, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Party Time I spent a night at the Crowne Plaza as I had a 7:00 am flight. I wason the ninth floor and there was an all night party going on in the halls and room next to mine. I got very little sleep and when I left the room at 4:00 am, an hour earlier than planned, the party was still going on. When I told the clerk at the desk she shrugged her shoulders like I was crazy. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shame about the Internet and Thrust Reversers This is a good hotel spoiled by an expensive and substandard Internet facilities, and by the noise of aircraft thrust reversers as aircraft land from 05:30 in the morning. Bar prices are very high, and the snack menu is poor. The pool is a special treat, with trees to swim round, and the staff are very polite. May 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our stay at Crown Plaza, Changi Airport Singapore The best part was that it is attached to Changi Airport and very easily accessible. After getting out of Customs and Immigrations, we took a train from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 and the Hotel was right there. Similarly we exited the Hotel after Checking out and went straight to Terminal 3 at United Airlines counter about 50 Yards away from Hotel exit and you never get out of the building. Even the MRT train station is in the basement which makes it easy to travel to the City. The stay was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. May 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and efficient room Despite locating next to the airport runway, the room is sound proof and you can get excellent sleep. Service is fast and efficient. Will definitely come back again if on transit. One plus point is that they do recognize priority club members and provide upgrades. May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautfullly presented room. First impression when entering the room is WOW. We were so tired and just showered and fell into bed. So comfortable and bedding warm but light. Thank you for a great brief stay May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotels and location Super Handy and convenient. Nice rooms with smart design, good use of space and comfy bed. Modern and clean. There is a shopping and restaurants at the airport. Will definitely come back to stay when visit Singapore next trip. May 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a great rest I travel to or through Singapore once a month for the last two years. This hotel is very accomadating. They have very clean rooms and their service personnel are always extremely helpful. They also have a great breakfast. May 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and quiet room Comfortable bed and quiet room conveniently located. May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great layover hotel I needed a room for a one night layover and this was perfect. I arrived at 2 am and really appreciated the convenience of just walking over without ever leaving the airport. There is a sky bridge that you can walk over on. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom luxurious, and breakfast was delicious. The pool is one of the best hotel pools I've ever been in. While the price is steep, to me it was worth not having to take a cab into the city. May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and great dining I stayed for a few hours between transit, and it was really comfortable in the room. A few things slightly bothered me as the bathtub cap, and the TV, but overall experience was nice. At the dinner buffet, it was good selection and variety. Chocolate chip ice cream (Godiva) was too loose, but it was still very tasty treat. May 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel with great service in a convenient location I stayed in the Changi Airport Crowne Plaza twice in 60 days and both stays were excellent. The hotel is new, the proximity to the airport is convenient, the room I stayed at was excellent and the staff was responsive, accommodating, kind and efficient. The only thing the hotel could improve is the dinner buffet food. It seems that the buffet (not a- la-cart) food is the same as lunch so some of the dishes don't seem fresh as they were at lunch. I would stay in the hotel again. May 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wifi is the only let down When I transit through Singapore, and I am just on an overnighter, I stay at the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. It is convenient, efficient and allows me to recharge before the onward journey. This time I was upgraded, according to the receptionist, as recognition for my frequent stays. Thanks, now that is nice. I should have booked for a week. I enjoyed the suite (913). A pity it was only for a 8 pm arrival and 5 am checkout. I always enjoy a beer (thanks for the voucher) and wine in the bar watching the big screen, before retiring for a short nap. The Internet though is a true let down. Firstly the charges. S$ 29.00 for 24 hours leaves a bit of a bitter taste to be honest. Also because it is not flawless! In my bedroom, the signal was weak at best and kept dropping to the extend it could not be used. I had to move to the lounge to pick up a better signal! Only a maximum 4 meter distance... All in all a good hotel, recommendable. May 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good option for airline travellers If you want to stay at the airport this hotel seems to be the only viable option. Taking into the account hotel price levels in Singapore, it may be also value for money, supposing that you get a deal on line. Compared to some other Crowne Plaza hotels the breakfast was not as nice as in other places, but still fully OK. May 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Good for stopovers We had a 24 hour stopover in Singapore. We stayed at the Crown Plaza before and choose the hotel as it is so easy and good value to get into town in 30 minutes by MRT. Even tho the hotel is pricey, it is worth it as you can check out, leave your cases at the hotel, spend the whole day in Singapore and come back, shower and change by the pool and check in for the overnight flight to Europe. I left my wallet at reception when I checked in and the staff could not have been more helpful. The porter called reception and by the time I got back down to the lobby the reception manager had secured my wallet and was just about to deliver it to my room! The hotel is modern, the rooms are well sound proofed and the hotel restaurant is not outrageously priced for an airport location. If you want something cheaper there are lots of food outlets in the terminals. If I was staying one or 2 days between flights I would choose this hotel over a property in town. May 3, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice warm friendly staff Location and outward appearance was nice. Aircon was cold enough. Room furnishings were so-so. No creamer for coffee. Dirty floor. Bed was too hard. Walking around the hotel was not something nice to do due to lack of airconditioning. Food was too expensive(no option to add breakfast to the package) but it is near T3 so it's easy to grab a bite from there instead. Pool was quite small and had a few people so you won't be able to relax much there. May 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great food nice room The food was really good and the wait staff was attentive and helpful. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well appointed and large. It was a very pleasant stay. May 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EXCELLENT AIRPORT HOTEL Stayed at the CP Changi and was very impressed. this is the best airport hotel I have stayed at. April 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Promotional Pricing This is a great hotel for travelers wanting the convenience of quick access to the airport terminal. The rooms, dining facility and food service, and the pool are all top quality. And despite being in the center of the airport, the rooms are extremely quiet. The only negative factor was that when I pre-paid using the Crowne Plaza Web site, the on-line form acknowledging payment failed to include a statement about the promotional offer of free in-room Internet access and free breakfast --which were the reasons I was buying through the CP Web site. I therefore printed out a copy of the promotional offer to take with me when I checked in. Good thing I did that, because the staff at the front desk did not want to recognize the promo offer since it had not been included in the payment acknowledgment. However, the promo offer was ultra clear as to the conditions (i.e., purchase and occupancy within specified periods of date), so in the end, after calling the manager, we were given free Internet and breakfast. However, there was obviously a disconnect between what was on-line and what was understood at the front desk. This could have been easily resolved if the Web site pre-payment mechanism had simply included the promo offer in the printout of the receipt. To be quite honest, free Internet should be standard at a Crowne Plaza hotel, given how much is being paid for the room. FWIW, a couple that came in after us were quoted a walk-in price that was US$20 lower than what I paid using the CP Web site. April 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect solution to a long layover at Changi I travel often between Malaysia (my homeland) and Australia (where I study), and I always transit in Singapore because of its world-class airport. The Crowne Plaza Changi more than lives up to the reputation of the airport whose passengers it serves. The facilities are modern, the ambience is classy yet comfortable, and the service is always efficient and professional. Staying here, I often forget that I'm steps away from one of the world's major airports. This is the perfect place to stay if you have to spend a night in Singapore in between flights. April 25, 2013
