Very convenient location, especially for travelers arriving very late and leaving early the next morning.
Courteous staff, good food with room service, quick check in and check out.
But the price is really over the top. It is hard to justify this price given that its only compelling value is the close proximity to the airport. It is a long haul to the city and to all the tourist attractions.
Restaurant pricing is also really expensive for good but not exceptional food.
Employee responsiveness is relaxed with no sense of urgency nor do they express friendliness--mostly professional courtesy.
If I had a reasonable alternative, I would use it.

Hotel was beautiful - clean, modern, large room and comfy bed. Everything we needed while staying for one night. Also we had a long day before our flight out so we were given complimentary late check-out and access to the showers to refresh ourselves before flying out. All in all a great experience and we will definitely stay here again whenever we're in Singapore.

The hotel is very comfortable, the layout means you can get fresh air once out of room whilst on your way to other parts of the htoel. Coventiently located by Terminal 3 means it is easily reached by the SkyTrain from any of the other terminals. You can walk out of the hotel direct into Terminal 3 and make full use of all the facilities available there and in the process get a reasonable amount of exercise by walking all around the landside facilities of Terminal 3.
Easy access to the SMRT and journey time of about 30 mins to get to centre of town for attractions like Orchard Road, Clarkes Quay etc. Also easy access to the bus station to catch buses either into Singapore or more local destinations such as Changi.Within the hotel a choice of bars / restaurants and of course the pool, gymnasium etc.
Finally on day of departure easy access to the relevant terminal to check-in for your flight.

I was undecided where to stay for our overnight stay in Singapore and finally decided on the Crowne Plaza as it was so convenient for our return jouney the following morning. I wasn't disappointed the room was excellent and even though you are right on the airport I managed to have a decent nights sleep. The facilities offered at this hotel are very good the pool looked very inviting but we decided to take a trip in to the city centre instead. We opted to travel by skytrain in to the city which was very easy to use and only a couple of excalator rides from the hotel so still in terminal 3. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Singapore.

Yes, you can stay downtown and be closer to the Quays or Orchard but why? If you are arrivng late or departing early at Changi this is the place to be. You've got the subway just downstairs, are minutes away from all three terminals for late arrivals or early departures and if you get tired of the cuisine at the hotel, you have most of T3 to chose from.
I even got enzyme tablets for my contact lenses just outside the hotel in T3 at the micro-pharmacy.
I know not everyone takes the subway, but the hotel is only about a half hour from the City Hall station which is central to everything else. I was averaging about 45 minutes to Orchard station for example. For about $2.50 US vs. $30 US for a taxi to save, what? 10 minutes? 15? In Traffic?
Anyway. I thoroughly enjoy staiying at the Crown Plaza Changi. I like the rooms, the breakfast and the convenience. My only negative, and it is small, is that air conditioning is too much for me. I just turn it off and sleep fine. Says something given this is at 2 degrees north latitudue!

For a very reasonable price the stay at the airport hotel was very comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The ease at which you are able to check - in from the airport and then walk only a few hundred feet to be right back at the gate was awesome. Rooms are contemporary, quiet and very comfortable.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Spre on both the 30 Dec., 2012, and again on 6 January, 2013. This was due to our flights departing early the next day and our need to relax before our next journey.
We chose this hotel for convenience and also for comfort as well as for a touch of luxury that the hotels inside the terminal do not always have. Those hotels are very basic and you also do not have access to any of your luggage.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. The best thing for us was the polite and good service (they even allowed us to leave a small bag there from 31 Dec to 6 Jan.), the convenience of walking out of Term 3 Arrivals Hall into the Crowne Plaza, and the fact that despite its location so close to the tarmac, you could not hear the planes coming and going. They also treat Priority Club members with special TLC!
What we found a little uncomfortable (in room 739) was that the AC was very draughty. We tried to turn the fan speed to low and the temperature higher, to reduce the cold blast. However, this did not work well either and we still felt the draught on us as we slept.
Another thing which is a little off-putting is the very dim lighting throughout the hotel. When packing and unpacking, one needs ample light! When walking into the lobby area, it is also quite dark. The first time I ever stayed at the Crowne Plaza I arrived alone ( a single woman) late at night and I recall feeling a little uncomfortable that it was so dark!
Apart from the above, I would definitely stay there again as it is so convenient and quite a classy hotel. Good value for money.

Booked 2 rooms for family / extended family staycation. Given the impression by staff over live chat that the premier rooms and suites are runaway facing, which is what the kids are looking forward to. We were only informed during check-in that none of the suites are runway facing, which was disappointing because we have also requested for connecting rooms between the suite and premier room.
The rooms were also not ready despite official check-in time of 2pm. If we are taking the connecting room, it's either (1) all of us, i.e. 4 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant squeeze into a premier room first and wait for the guest at the suite to check-out and room cleaned (which could be 4 or 5pm), or (2) wait for both rooms to be cleaned (guest already checked-out). Even if we forego connecting rooms, we would still have to wait for our rooms as they have yet to be cleaned. As the kids were getting cranky, we decided to go for option #1 hoping that they can nap soon. Even so, it was hard to get everyone settled down to rest when all of us were squeezed into the premier room!
Due to room expectation mismatch and delays, the whole check-in process was pretty stressful and unpleasant. The check-in staff did not offer any form of service recovery despite all the delays. It was only after our feedback that drinks voucher was given, albeit very reluctantly (very obvious facial expression!) - come on, it's only drinks vouchers and it is not as if it cost a leg and a arm!
Nonetheless, the rooms was spacious and comfortable (especially the suite) after we have managed to check-in successfully.

I stayed at this frequently for my arrival and departure when I visit Singapore. The hotel is conveniently located, has great staff and service, plus a comfortable room. The price is a little on the high side but I guess as long as it meets my needs I am okay with it.
I have referred members of my family and friends to stay at this hotel and they seem to like staying here too.

I felt very welcome from the check in to the check out. The amenities in the suite room is above my expectations and the overall stay experience is complemented by excellent staff who try to cater to my needs.
i have stayed in other rooms at this hotel and would say the standard and level of service is maintained during each of my stay. Club lounge staff are tip top in their service, and always with a great smile on their face.
Definitely will return for another stay.

Arrived weary and tire. Staff were welcoming despite their being very busy at check in. The room was luxurious and we felt pampered and looked after. The pool was a delight. As for breakfast- fabulous. You helped us to rest, re- energise, and we were ready for the next leg of our trip. We'll be back

Great hotel for a stopover in Singapore but dinner for 3 at the buffet cost over $150 USD. I do not mind paying that sort of cash for dinner as long as what is offered is what I call quality food served hot and fresh. But the buffet was just average. One can do a lot better elsewhere for those sort of $$ in Singapore for dinner.
The hotel is 4 star international quality.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Changi for 3 nights in December 2012. Disappointed at check-in to learn that internet access isn't included (even for Priority Platinum members) - rather unusual for a business hotel in 2012. Apart from that omission, the hotel is modern, and the room very comfortable. Had dinner in the 2F restaurant one evening, where the buffet offered a good selection of tasty food. Not too noisy considering airport location.

The hotel offers good value especially if you a Priority Club member with the extra perks thrown in
The dinner buffet at Azur is very good value for money and the food is very fresh and offers a good variety
Not overwhelming,just the right amount
One down side is the hotel charges $20 for the second person in the room which I felt is very strange
Most 5 star properties I have stayed in the world don't have such a practice
It is understood that the room sleeps two and therefore the rate quoted is for 2 persons
However there are 2 & 3 star properties in Europe that sleeps one but those rooms are really designated for single occupancy as the room size in Europe are rather small especially for the 2 and 3 star properties
Their 5 star properties also sleeps 2.I would even dare say that it is a known fact
Please review your pricing policy
I have stayed at your Inter Continental Hotel on London Park Lane,Paris and the Carlton Inter Continental in Cannes and these hotels also under your group do not have such a practice

Venue is perfect if you have an early next morning flight. Hotel connected to Terminal 1 with easy access via Sky Link to Terminal 2 and 3. No having to wait for taxi, fight traffic, or go outside.

I was disappointed with the lack of service and attention in the Club Lounge (I am Plat Ambassador member) on my previous visit. This visit, disappointing again. Check in very slow as was check out. Breakfast ordered for 7am, rang at 7.20am (no one contacted me!!) told it was on its way, waited a further 10 minutes, plane to catch (you are after all an airport hotel!!) so cancelled.

Convenient, clean, comfortable, but not cheap.
As an Ambassador member, I keep expecting to get Internet Access for free, but some of these hotels do, and some don't, this one doesn't. I've stayed here several times, and it peeves me to have to pay nearly 30 dollars for 24 hours of internet, to answer my emails when I'm usually there for less than 12 hours before flying out.

We chose the hotel because of our early morning departure. We knew the train would not operate until 5am which was too late for the required check-in. We inquired of the front desk and bell stand the previous evening whether we needed to pre-order a taxi. We were told that we absolutely did not need to do that and that there would taxis standing by in the garage below and it would take 2-5 minutes for them to arrive
The next morning, no taxis to be found. the door attendant was unresponsive. We had to get the duty manager to assist and even with that it took over 20 minutes for a taxi to be hailed streetside once we got his assistance. We didn't get the first taxi as other frantic guests had been told the same thing and had priority over us. Thank goodness we had awakened earlier than expected and had more time than planned or we would have missed the required checkin.
We would have been better off staying in town.
Check-in and check-out was slow and paper cumbersome.
Drinks in bar were excellent, dinner in Chinese restaurant was very good, and room was very nice and soundproof. But we would never stay here agsin or recommend the hotel.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, bed was comfy, can't fault the facilities. Two things bugged me and left a bad taste though. Firstly the extra charge of $20 for my husband to sleep in the same bed as me, yes you heard right! On top of the room charge they charge you an extra person charge, even though you've booked a double room, I've never come across that before and found it excessive. It's fairly expensive and I understand why, because of its convenience, but for the price we paid I expected breakfast to be included and it wasn't. So great place for a layover, super handy and super comfy, but expect to pay more for the privilege.

This hotel is top notch, very clean, amazingly designed, and modern.
I will stay at this hotel every time I return to Singapore in the future.
I was upgraded to a suite as a Platinum Member and treated royally.
The hotel is truly in Terminal 3, so you have access to the MRT and the airport (which has plenty to offer itself).
The concierge is also helpful as I had many tourist questions for them even though I was on business.
In summary, the hotel is breathtaking, the service is wonderful, and this will always be one of those hotels that you remember forever.

Location is very convinient, right in terminal. We came in very late and spent next day in Singapoure. Staff was always very pleasant and ready to assist. If you come late in evening and stay for 1 day, this is definetely a choice! Room was good and comfortable, although soundproof is a bit less than at other airport hotels, but still good enough. Choice of food at breakfast was good, although not too much to European taste
