Comfortable hotel - breakfast is NOT complimentary as advertised

Complimentary breakfast is a very sparse selection of "continental" items - bagels, coffee etc. For an American breakfast you have to pay. Considering the amount charged for rooms an American breakfast could easily be included as truly complimentary.

Apart from that the hotel was great.

rooms seemed not sound-proof so the sleep can be disrupted by loud noise in the hallway; the toilet plumbing issues and shower water pressure could bring some headaches.

Great location but the hotel definitely needs upgrading to keep the standard I would expect from Crowne Plaza

Clean rooms - Pool was HUGE disappointment

Overall, very average and very easy to get to. There was nothing that would turn me off from booking again, yet nothing that would compel me to re-book. The rooms were as pictured, and clean and comfortable. Though we were set up as a room for four, we only had towels for three. Housekeeping staff was very nice and cheery. Room was very clean, but the outside of the windows were very weather beaten and dirty looking. Other staff members were "meh". No cheeriness about them. Seemed like they were "just paying the bills" by being there.

Colossally disappointed by the "pool" and "patio area" . This should not even be a selling point to booking this property. The picture must be about 10 years old, at least. It is not even near the calming Caribbean blue that is pictured. Rather it looks like a faded, dilapidated, institutional blue green, a place that you'd see in a video game.. in an abandoned hotel. The water had bubbles all over the surface, and the water was too low for the filter system to function properly. The "patio" had weeds growing between the bricks. Just awful.
