Another poor experience in saint paul.

This was another attempt at this location and was disappointed again. Greeting without any acknowledgment of my status, no choice of greeting gift. Messy lobby and most other common areas. The port of call was a joke, very poor service from male white bartender working monday night. He was more concerned about his friends at the bar and fantasy football team than customers. Room was clean but very small, no paper at door in morning or folio at exit. If this is going to be an intercontinental they have a lot of work to do. Last time at this hotel is was similar experience but took 3 room changes to finally find a clean one. Both times at check in zero mention of member status and lobby bar service was poor then as well.

Great location with new modifications.

Hotel is an excellent choice if attending an event at the Xcel energy center. Hotel was under renovation but it did not effect our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great Hotel in Saint Paul, MN

I stayed at this hotel as a place to crash after a local night out. The property is undergoing renovations, but the room we were given was spectacular. They have done an excellent job with the renovations so far, and the hotel will look great once everything is done.

Under construction

I understand the hotel is under construction, so Hotel is not at its best right now. I was a guest at the hotel and the parking garage was full when I needed to check in. I had to pay for valet parking because of an event at the hotel. A heads up when I booked my room would have been nice, just so I knew what I needed to do upon arrival. Every time I stay here I get a different rate. What is up with that? The rooms are nice, love the Keurig in the room!!

Dear gmajean, Thank you for your feedback, I we are glad you enjoyed the room and loved the coffee maker. I apologize any troubles you may have encountered when attempting to find a parking location. The 320 Wabasha Ramp, which is connected to the hotel, is a public parking ramp and depending on hotel or events at the Xcel center does tend to fill the ramp to its capacity. To accommodate our guest the hotel offers guests a discounted valet overnight rate for only $1 then what the parking ramp chargers. To answer your question regarding rates,. The hotel offers multiple pricing structures which are affected by room types and the level of business (supply and demand).
