Some good, some not so good

The room was beautifully furnished, with actually interesting art on the walls - one of the only hotels where that's been true when I've stayed. The room did not have enough light, however, and the light switches were hard to locate. The concierge told me I'm not the only saying that and they are planning changes.

The wifi is HORRIBLE. Ridiculously slow.

Restaurant was under construction, so things were discombobulated, but the staff did their best to make my stay pleasant. Outstanding customer service from the front desk and restaurant staff.

Comfortable and classy

Our room was very updated, comfortable bed, very clean! Even with the remodeling construction going on, it was quiet, and very clean. Close to everything and a beautiful view of the Mississippi river! We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent renovation

I have stayed at this property many times and watch as it deteriorated
so was happy to see the the excellent reno. Love the colors, plenty of storage, lots of power outlets, comfy beds and sheets. Only issue is the lighting and the lack of it. The bedside lamp is totally inadequate for reading. Also the message light on the phone did not work so almost missed a package that had been delivered.

The hotel is going through a major renovation so some of the ratings for the common areas were a little lower. The staff did a great job of keeping noise to a minimum as much as possible and keeping the areas cleam
