The St. Paul Riverfront Crowne Plaza Hotel was a very good choice for my recent business meeting in the Twin Cities. The service was excellent; however, the renovations work being done in the lobby area were distracting. Overall, my experience was very favorable.

Loved having this in the room, it was wonderful! The bed, pillows and blankets were very nice and comfortable! The room stayed dark, very relaxing stay!

They didn't warn us the hotel was being remodeled

We should have been warned that the hotel was in disarray due to construction. There were cartons of pillows in the hall, and trash. The lobby was a mess. Staff was nice but reserved. Our newly modeled room was really too small for two queen beds, one bed was jammed up against the drafty window, no room for a side table etc. the new bathroom was lovely. When the remodel is done it will likely be fine. Meantime they should be warning guests and doing something to compensate... A glass of wine? A basket of fruit? A cookie?
