We had a riverview room on the 7th floor. Loved the view. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Nice big shower with great towels. Bed was comfy. Overall nice and relaxing stay. Negative side--Pretty sure my tablet got hacked while using their WiFi .

I have to say that our stay on 11/22/13 was great. For an older building, I was pleased with the rooms and the decor. The windows could use some plastic to keep the "breeze" out, but it's understandable & was not uncomfortable for sleeping! :)
We stayed for a concert at the Xcel Energy Center. The weather was very cold, so we were really glad to be able to walk all the way there, without going outside, through the skyway!
Had breakfast at the downstairs restaurant, and it was perfect.
Thanks for the great stay experience.

Maintenance worker very prompt and efficient.at getting me into my room. The batteries had expired in the door mechanism. The valet was friendly and helpful. I left an item of great importance at the motel. The security person had it shipped to me. Great employee. The bed was comfortable and view of the river impressive.

We had to park in a parking ramp and walked from the ramp to the hotel. The ramp smelled bad. Walking In the hotel it was beautiful. We got to our room, it was very small and unclean. The bathroom was filthy, hair was stuck in the hair dryer, on the floor, and old soap bars from the guests were still in the bathroom. Even the door handles were different colors. We slept fine. The hot tub looked very unclean, didn't use the pool. They don't have a free breakfast for guests in the morning, and beware when you check in they tack on an extra $50 for incidentals that they don't tell you about.

My stays at Crowne Plaza have always been flawless. I enjoy and appreciate the comfortable beds/good nights rest, the corner river view rooms, and the convenience of the early morning buffet and being able to head out for a mornings' meeting by 8:00a.m. after being able to eat right in the hotel. This visit was no different in those respects, however, a leak every time the toilet was flushed and unreliable shuttle service were disapointments. I made shuttle van arrangements to take me into Lowertown for a late dinner, returning a couple of hours later. I ended up having to walk to Lowertown, and had a 40 minute wait for a return shuttle #and had to call 3 times total# to secure it's services. These disappointments will not keep me from patronizing the Crowne Plaza again, but I do hope that better attention will be paid to matters such as these in the future!

I attended an conference here and everything was very nice, The improvement would recommend is temperature control in the rooms. I like to sleep at 65 degrees and couldnt seem to get the temp down that far. I did appreciate that light weight blankets were provided in addition ot the duvet. As a club member, I was invited to use the lounge. I only used it once at breakfast time but is was quite nice. I appreciated this very much.

When I made the reservation, the reservation clerk assured me we would have a king size bed - the room had two double beds.
The beds were sleep number beds and were very uncomfortable. We complained to the front desk and maintenance sent someone to check out the bed. He explained the beds were wore out and would be replaced when the hotel was remodeled. He showed us how to hold the button down for it to work.
The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan or heater. The carpet in the room was wrinkled and not attached in a couple of places.
The windows were not sealed and whistled when the wind blew, which is all of the time.
On a good note, it was a corner room and had two nice windows for a view.

After reading previous reviews, I had concerns about my stay at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul.
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely, comfortable and the housekeeping staff were excellent.
The bed was comfortable; I don't believe it was a sleep number bed.
The toilet is a bit odd but workable.
The walls were thin, but I didn't have any noise issues during my stay. (I'm sensitive to noise.)

Even though we arrived later in the evening we had a good dinner and the kids enjoyed the pool very much!! Everyone from valet to room service were wonderful!!! It's always awesome to see such great customer service!!

At first glance the room seemed clean. I noticed the bedskirt, area around the nightstand and vents were very dirty. The room was very small but the set-up was nice for the size. We were told that the beds were queen and I know they were not queen size. Since we had 4 people scheduled to sleep in the room, I was glad it turned out to be 2! The room was very warm. The windows opened minimally and being on the 21 floor, we could not cool the room even turning the temp down. The view from the room was great, parking was wonderful and the staff were beyond friendly. The food in the hotel bar was exceptional.

I have to say this place exceeded my expectations. Everything from making the reservation to the room itself was very positive. We had a great room overlooking the river. Also, given that it was a Saturday night and there were a number of partiers checking in at the same time, I marveled at how quiet it was. Did not hear a peep from other rooms.

I was there to run in the Monster Dash Half Marathon. The staff helped me get to the start of the race in them moring with informative directions, which were easy to understand. When I returned after the race, plus I had already checked out, they were very accomidating to me and my needs physically after the race. Could not ask for better respect. Thank you and I will be back next year!!

The living experience is great - until a construction job was started at 9:18am one morning that prevented me from sleeping. I felt the drill sound through my pillow to my brain (Although I had earplugs on). I called reception to complain, and simply told that they can't do anything about it, that they'll contact the manager... And expectedly, the drilling continued 40 minutes later - I simply gave up and was forced to cut my sleep short. Complete disrespect to international travelers - I hope you weren't expecting that all your customers start work at 9am!
I asked for a humidifier due to the fact that the room is extremely dry... was promised a reply back regarding a humidifier, and guess what... never happened. I eventually got tired of dealing with such sloppy service.
Plus, I hear a lot of ambient noises around me. But wasn't too concerned due to the fact that I had earplugs with me. Sound insulation wasn't the best.
Before my visit ends, I started to notice that my bed sheets started to smell, simply indicating that they are just put back on the bed without regular replacement of overused bed covers/sheets.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The only draw backs where that the Starbucks was only open in the morning, the hotel had no recycle bins anywhere in the building and there was no options to conserve in our rooms, by way of a note to tell the cleaning staff that the bed sheets didn't need to be changed, etc.
I would recommend this hotel, but would have enjoyed my stay more if I knew I was helping the environment as well.

I could not believe that in 2013 a hotel had no provision for recycling or for using my towels again. Even when the towels were neatly folded on the rod , they were removed and replaced with new.
The recurring problems with room keys grew stale over the week we were there.
The staff were all uncommonly pleasant and helpful.

Room 1921...control for thr bed hardness on the right side...side near the phone & window...it doesn't work...first night it was real hard 65...couldn't adjust...very nconfortable...got busy & forgot to tell the desk...I did get it to go down the second night to 35...to soft and the edge of the mattress was "gone"...couldn't adjust...that was our last scheduled night...regular checkout...

left list in room- spider web - been there awhile; no tea packets in the room just coffee- service sent up right away; closet doors hard to open wouldn't close; clock radio alarm hard to set - had to call for wake up call; no bath mat towel; room adjoining door unlocked when entered room; paper but no pen to be had; reached for a towel and a spider fell out of the towel. not the best stay I've had at a hotel.

Made reservation for 6 women going to a conference. Asked for 2 rooms, 3 people per room. Got checked in only to find they put us in two rooms with 1 king bed each. Called front desk, "unable to change it", almost refused to bring up rollaway beds, but finally did for an additional fee/bed/night - their mistake but we had to pay extra. Were told we would get adjoining rooms - didn't, although our room had an adjoining door with the room on the other side of us.
Given no explanation about the need for key in the elevator of upper floors, had people in our party stranded without key and unable to get up to our floor until we finally figured out where everyone was and met on lower floors. Heard many similar complaints with elevator system from people staying there. Elevators were slow!!!!!!

My mother-in-law and I were in town for a wedding. Great location and within walking distance to the reception site. For the price we paid it was not worth the convenience or the lack of sleep. The doors are paper thin. We could hear anyone and everyone's conversations waiting for the elevator. Not so great at 6:00am or even 10:00pm. There is no mini fridge which is, so I thought, kind of a room staple these days, especially for the price. Our carpet was stained in multiple spots. I felt that it could use some updating for the high price we paid. On a positive note, the view was pretty.

My husband is disabled and our room was to the right of the elevator. The view of the Mississippi River was awsome and our king size bed was lovely, size of room was just right. The Club Room needs more of a varity of foods but the staff was very friendly and professional.

Most staff helpful though My rom card frequently did not work, I was strapped for time to dress for an awards dinner and unable to get into my room to dress and I went to front desk to replace card and I had to ask 3 times for a desk attendant who finally came around office corner with a cell phone in her hand and still not acknowledging me, again I stated I was pressed for time. Just Saying...

The bed was so comfy! It was one of those sleep number beds. I went to the lounge in the evening and the bartender was excellent and super friendly. The guest service was also very friendly as well and very helpful. 5 stars!!!

After reading some negative reviews I was afraid of what I could find at the hotel in terms of clean rooms and good service. I have been in most of the hotels downtown, more than once on each of them, and I have found that for what I need, this hotel offers the best service. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. I had booked Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On Saturday the hotel lobby looked busy with a couple of large meetings or conventions. On Sunday morning (9:00 AM) the elevators were slow. All other days and times they were fast and always available in less than half a minute. Monday was a quiet day. The only improvement I can suggest is to include breakfast in the basic rate.

Our stay at the Crowne was lovely, wonderful room and bed with a great view.
Unfortunately I can't say that for the front desk peopel I talked to on the phone to confirm my reservation and ask for early check in because we were attending a wedding. They were rude, did not identify themselves, nor asked for my confirmation number or name.
We stay at the St. Paul Hotel and your staff could learn a lot from their staff on customer service.
Your events person Molly, was very helpful and very courteous.
