Very weird that a Holiday Inn Express is inside the same building. I got a promotional rate at the Crowne Plaza so I stayed there this time. Typically I stay at the HIE. You get free breakfast, WiFi, and Frig and the rooms are equal. Only issue with either is the parking. Poorly marked and you can't put the parking on your bill. The hotel is a stand-alone property with an attached parking structure so why charge for parking anyway? Not that all the retail 1/2 away or the homes near by are going to use the lot? Otherwise, enjoyed my stay but typically it's HIE for me.

Dining room

As previously stated on Tuesday and Wednesday morning there was no one in restaurant to provide menu or wait on table. After mentioning this to front desk on Wednesday it was resolved the next two days. Orange juice and coffee were watered down. When mentioned on Wednesday they did not charge for orange juice. Toast was served cold. Always had to ask for jelly for toast.

Had dinner one time. The hamburger was not very good being dry and unappetizing.

Parking Experience was the WORST


March 29, 2015


1) Pay for parking is ridiculous
2) Paid for multi-day parking pass and at first exit the machine didn't return my pass. Instead of issuing new multi-day pass the hotel required me to go to the front desk and get a pass every time I wanted to exit the hotel parking. Very inconvenient and poor solution to a problem created by the hotel.
3) Bathroom shower dirty, hair on floor and walls
4) Hotel less than 1/2 full but I was put in a room as far as possible from the elevators, making for a long walk every time I entered and exited the hotel.
